Hey dude, I'd love to to more, but time is rare and I'm rather doing one big video instead of many small vids around 1 figure. So that people get everything covered in one run. :-) Thanks for the props! There still some others out there but I also noticed some slow downs.

Hey Rob, thank you for the nice comment. Always a pleasure. I just noticed that I missed out to point out a small detail: on the chest plate Hot Toys missed out a bit of opportunity - in the movie you see 2 silver parts open , this is not possible on this suit , probably to keep the chest plate removable and save costs. On the other hand the removable chest plate is a joke...the paint and sculpt below is really not good.

MK1 & MK4 awesome figures, I have the MK4 and has to be the best figure in my collection. Thanks for highlighting the posing risks, will keep mine in the Museum pose fully weaponised :) Nice review thanks :)

I was wondering where your WM MK4 review was...😁 Thanks for the detailed look, Andre. The warnings are really appreciated, as those scratches would bother me quite a bit. 👍 I agree with you, regarding the light up features. I wish Hot Toys would’ve given us all those red lights on the figure. It would’ve been cool to see a WM light up like the newer Iron Man figures, but it’s a small complaint. A beautiful addition to any collection, to be sure. I’m really looking forward to mine arriving.

Hey Derek, thanks! Yes, i should have talked bit more about this. In the movie we saw the suit basically in top condition, but he def. had some wear towards the end of the movie, but I have not found any close ups or movie images.

Man I’m shocked whenever I shock your videos. Not only do you get every new Hot Toys Marvel release, but you also keep the old ones. I wonder what your room looks like now. I love this new War Machine. The tiny darker squares in the camo paint are not exactly placed as in the movie, I think this would have been impossible to recreate anyway. They just randomly placed them, but in the end it still does the job. I haven’t bought anything Marvel in 5 years (except Guardians), and I’m curious about the Led lights. Do the batteries hold well now? Because in the past if you left the eyes or Ark reactor on for a few minutes the lights would dim already.

@@kenwright233391 The Mark 50 iron man was very close to it...but they missed the mark by deciding to release the accessories set by itself. If I look at older figs there are still some really good ones: Joker 2.0 from the dark knight is a classic and outstanding release, or last years Yondu from guardians of the Galaxy.

You can buy the figures after their hong kong release directly from local hong kong sellers. Just go on ebay and search for "war machine mark IV ready" and you will find offers, but they are very pricey.

It's about 1 figure per month that I get, and approx. 1'000 usd per month for this hobby is quite usual if you're a bit more into hot toys collecting. Of course you need a job and income to enable this, and set priorities right.

@@Xenom0rph Nice idea! I've scratch built four 1/6 War Machines including two Punisher versions, one with a lot of battle damage but fully articulated. Would you like a link to my forum WIP and finished project threads for those builds? Might give you some ideas. I've been building 1/6 customs for about 15 years now.

This sounds interesting! Can you share me a link to your build ups with photos? This would def. give me some inspirations since for this suit there's no real close up images showing battle damage or dirt..apart from that last scene in the woods where he has the helmet of (infinity war) - but it's quite in the distance. What do you think about the upcoming punisher war machine version by Hot Toys?

I really would like a completely battle damaged one.. I hate it with these armors when they are absolutely perfect.. In reality these suits would be damafarf and scratched very easily.. Now granted all MCU movies are airplane level, slapstick comedies ( "... you mean there's a Spider-Man and a Ant-Man?!") but in between the laughs there are occasional fights and it would be neat to see dirt and damage (even minor) to add *some* realism to these horrid renditions of the characters.. Might be worth damaging mine intentionally for the look... 👍 🤔
