It's mostly because he's intelligent, while also doing a lot of research. Being informed is key, many comedians just don't do their research enough and they come up short. Plus, Andrew has a certain flair to him that most comedians don't have. That's what separates him and makes him stand out. Kudos to him!

Also I think because his approach when he’s teasing audience like a friend. It’s all done in good faith and friendship. Checkout his standup with the heckler lady who said “it’s not funny” on the lady who passed out during his show. He made sure he became friends with her by the end of the show. I never thought his stuff was staged or scripted but with this one he said something that immediately made me think it could have been. He said after a joke that some of these jokes are gunna be whatever word he used. So he basically spoke in future tense and while still on the couple so made me think he had the joked planned already for this
