You know when you click on a video about grown men playing with HotWheels, you don't expect much. But this was genuinely entertaining. That battle between those two cars that went on forever was actually pretty awesome, especially that one REALLY close race.

The lower bend is somehow taking too much energy out of the cars. If you race a car against itself on a stopwatch the outside track should win every time as it almost does now. It needs another bend to balance the tracks.

Weight of the car on the inside track at the bend plus gravity causes the car to want to roll over like the Bone Shaker kept doing, the same applies to the outside lane, but reversed.. The weight and gravity is forcing the car to want to sail off the top. In this case, the car wanting to sail instead of drop will definitely have an advantage

The reason it has an advantage is because the outside track has more room to maintain speed, while the inner car has a much sharper turn to run, and it ends up diminishing the energy the car has on the last run. The only tradeoff, is the fact that the inner track is shorter. But honestly, who cares. This is entertaining already. Let it be

I love that the track is big enough to slow the cars down a bit to have lead changes and so forth. When I was a kid I always felt they moved too fast and the race ended too quick on the shorter tracks I could set up to really see much difference in the cars.

My brother and I had a big Hot Wheels and Matchbox car collection as kids back in the mid 1970's to 1980's. We had the orange circle race track with the battery-powered garages with the spinning foam wheels that would grip the sides of the cars as they passed through and pushed them down the track so they would keep going nonstop. I don't think they make them anymore and I wish I still had them, along with all my G.I. Joe's and Star Wars toys. I remember getting the yellow 1957 FORD Thunderbird when the movie Grease came out, and the Smokey And The Bandit Pontiac Firebird, and of course The Dukes Of Hazzard ''General Lee'' Dodge Charger.
