The "freestyle" is too consitent and never has any holes. Its all written in the past. Most music, artist wright never get released to the public. He wrote this in the past and just wrote with the instrumentals beat. Its not a freestyle, sorry.

Snootches some artists will have some writtens to fill the hole in their freestyles. But obviously you dont even know what a freestyle is. Its free of style. You can still freestyle with written verses. Thus making it a freestyle. Thus why all people who actually understand music will label it a freestyle.

I met Mac...gave him a taxi ride in Aspen Colorado in winter of 2018, just months before he died. It's weird because I didn't even know who he was (I listen to 90s and early 00's rap that I grew up with). Then I discovered his freestyles just a year later, such a shame. He struck me as incredibly quiet and sensitive. He said he was from LA and "worked in entertainment" and I didn't press him with any additional questions. Thanks for the memories

In my opinion, this is the hardest Mac ever went. I understand this is two written verses from two different songs and not a “freestyle” but his flow and delivery was so on point this day. Rest In Peace Malcom, you were definitely slept on as a rapper and musician.

That’s what a freestyle means. Unfortunately the misconception painted is that freestyle means off the top, but freestyle can be anything. Traditionally, I think it was to spit something written onto a different beat than it was originally written on.

Ben- Dover well when you consider rappers like lil pump and lil yachty are making a LOT more money than mac and also get played on radio. Than ya he was kind of slept on. In my opinion Mac Miller was a brilliant fucking artist and should have gone down as one of the greatest. He passed away at 26 years old but still released about 15 mixtapes.

One of the last bars (around the 3:10 mark) “My sound amplified the screams from Kennywood’s Steel Phantom ride.” Kennywood is an amusement park in PA, and they used to have a coaster called the Steel Phantom. Like, Mac was a legit genius with his lyrics and poetry. Such a sad loss, he was going to make many more classics, if he only had the time.
