She also talks about her personal growth and the creative processes behind her latest work like why she’s named her album "Crash," reveals crying over a terrible breakup and the diabolical thing an ex did to her and she addresses how she feels about YG and Saweetie’s relationship.
She also talks about butt dialing Jill Scott while she was naked, sampling Christina Aguilera, her song “Lose My Wife," and if cheaters can change, the song “Kehlani”, putting her daughter on her album and also her thoughts on self-love, the impact of being a mother, and her efforts in philanthropy, which recently led to significant contributions to families in Palestine, Congo, and Sudan.
She also talks about her love for the WNBA and wanting to see Paige Bueckers and JuJu Watkins on the Golden State Valkyrie

Awesome interviewer, respectful to the bad experiences of other/past interviews. You notice kehlani opening up way more because of it and the sunflower gift was a really nice touch. Attention to detail and showing love🌻

She would have the same experience if not better on the Terrell Show. A lot of the singers he interviews I've never heard of, their niche, but the way he engages them makes me interested in them. For some you can tell they are a bit guarded, but afterwhile warm up. He is the epitome of "give them their flowers". He reminds me of the energy Mo'Nique gave on her talk show doing interviews.

What a great interview! Kehlani does seem to be the love & light girl! For years so many of her peers talk about how much they love her for being who she is! Now to hear it again just reaffirms, it even more! I'm old enough to be her mother but I do like her music and the fact that she is so versatile. With each album, she has evolved. It's like something from every genre on her new album Crash. Everything except for gospel music. I like it though. I pray to someday meet her. I claim her as family because she's representing the Bay Area! Period! God knows it's tough out her for our youth but she has made it out and she, hasn't taken it for granted. She always blesses others. Her aunt raised her well! I wish her nothing but the best!

It's just alot of makeup. If you watch her lives where she has no makeup or wig on she looks different. She said she didn't wanna do work on her face cuz her boob implants made her sick over time and had to remove them. She got veneers done tho.
