I went to Ulta yesterday and picked up the Loreal True Match Foundation because it was in one of your videos. I tried it today with NYX Marshmallow primer and 12 hours later the foundation still looks good. I think it's a keeper.

I actually tried the Loreal True Match foundation because you had it in your "top 5 drugstore foundations" or something like that. I literally picked it up in my grocery store, AND I LOVE IT!! I was super curious what you thought about the new formulation. I'm so glad you’re enjoyed it! Now I'm less nervous to get the new formula. Thanks for all the information.

I recently purchased your makeup brushes, the 101 brush and the concealer one. I live in Montreal so it took a while to receive them and with the money exchange it’s a bit on the pricey side BUT they are worth every penny! Love your videos. Got me using eye shadow again after years of thinking I was too old. I've trying to keep my makeup cruelty free so have researched a lot of brands. Love Merit. And Rimmel. I use Pur foundation. But I will continue following your videos. Great info and ideas. And when you said you had dog hair stuck in your makeup, I fell in love with you. Have the same Elf Putty bronzer, perfect colour for light skin. Imo L'Oreal is great on mascaras, not so much eye liners. I'm wearing the True Match and applying with a brush on light days when I am just in the office, but I also use it in combination with the Lancome Dual Finish powder and it seems to be perfect for me. On days I want to look my best, I still love the Chanel Velvet. I must have missed a video from you because it used to be your favorite, but I bet when they reformulated it, something didn't work well for you. I used to use Color Match foundation years ago. It transferred color to everything I touched all day long, my purse, steering wheel, shifter, books… i switched to Infallible and it gives me good coverage and looks good at the end of the day. I just purchased the new L’Oreal True Match. I got the color I’ve used for a year and it was much dark than the previous version. I can still wear it, somehow it just blends into my skin tone like magic lol 😅 I do think it’s very skin like and it does wear very well even without primer. Overall I concur with your review 💜💜💜

I have been using the L’Oréal Age Rewind Manuka Honey thicker cream and it’s has made a significant difference, I have noticed a firmer less lines . The cream is very thick dense and it has made a big difference.

I like the trialing of new products. I have been thinking of trying Morpheus or something similar. I have been ready to fall in love with some new mascaras… then the flaking starts. I feel you there. I have noticed flaking in quite a few new mascaras. I thought it would just be the new “tubing” formulas, but the reviews are saying otherwise. Interesting. Thanks for sharing your experience! 💕

Morning from the UK Angie! I loved this video, it cheered me up on a dreary morning. I also really liked your make-up look and thought the lipstick really looked lovely on you, a subtle but defining colour. The mascara looks fab too, what a find - I shall see if I can get it over here. Have you tried Revelon Photo Ready Primer? This is superb at making your pores disappear and gives ones skin a lovely soft diffused finish. I often just wear it instead of foundation. Wishing you a great day. Fiona x

So glad you tried the new True Match formula....been waiting for your opinion! 🙂 I think it's lighter (texture & color) because it no longer has any sunscreen. Lol on your dog being Rot & Shepherd! Great natural protection & balanced temperament. Like the makeup look! Don't notice much difference in the new True Match, but do wish they'd left the formula alone (kept sunscreen) & just added a pump. The addition of the lip stain looks great. I am watching you for quite a few years now and I still enjoy it and learning a lot especially from the skincare segments. Sitting here laughing with Angie not at Angie! Very infectious laugh! I was so excited about the essence mascara, it looked so good! Love doing DNA test on the mix breeds I've had over the years. Currently have a 50% pitt with australian cattle dog, cocker spaniel & rottie mixed in for good measure & he is a total sweetheart!

Angie, you may want to try C3 in that foundation as cooler shades tend to be a little deeper from the addition of a rose tint. I was wondering if this foundation would have a shade that is cool enough for me. Thanks for the try ons!

I really loved how the Essence Like A Boss mascara looked on you Angie, until later of course, but I see they have a waterproof version of it, which may help with it’s staying power and less flaking (hopefully?) so I might actually try that!

i've been having a horrible time with foundation lately. So by watching different videos I bought sephora's best skin ever - it was settling into pores - so I tried both a milk primer and dr brandt - making sure I avoided silicon primers. Still it was just settling into pores. So I had the idea to add a drop of the Ordinary's niacinamide to it - it really helped! But I also decided to try the true match - still haven't found my shade but currently mixing the 2 I have and it works great but not with my primers. right now everything seems to be working best when I have cerave ultra light spf lotion on.

Hi Angie this is my experience with every Essence mascara (including the waterproof version) - looks great initially and then smudges everywhere after a while. In fairness my eyes can be watery (due to both rosacea and seasonal allergies), but other non waterproof mascaras aren't as much of a mess as the essence ones I've tried (the much hyped lash princess is a prime example and the waterproof is just as much of a smudgy mess on me as the original). The new Elf lipsticks have been getting really good reviews, so I am curious about them. I use two primers - one in the centre of the face to smooth pores/texture and a hydrating/glowy primer on the perimeter for my very dry skin (targeted usage makes my foundation look better). Although you buy two products they each last longer as used half and half. Best wishes.

Hi Angie, You should try the NYX primer with a different sunblock. I have very oily skin and I use it with Beauty of Joseon or SkinCeutical. Great video as always.

Thy the elf $3.00 Elf "cream & sugar" 4 pan eyeshadow mini. 2 matte's and 2 shimmers! I love that specific combination altogether that the lightest color Shimmer will always work anytime you need a light-colored inside corner Shimmer it's perfect with every palette I've ever tried that is always my inside Shimmer color!
