Hi Angie. Your make up looks amazing. The foundation looks lovely. I ended up buying the L’Oreal unlimited mascara you recommended and I absolutely love it. On another note, after being diagnosed with breast cancer 4 yrs ago, I had my 7th and final operation today, and I can now get on with the rest of my life. Yay! I received a sample of this foundation in a perfect match. I applied it to one half of my face and applied the Estée Lauder Futurist on the other half. For the first 4 hours I couldn’t tell them apart, but after that, the IT foundation did start to fade away much faster than the Futurist. If the longevity of the IT foundation can be extended using a setting spray, then the two foundations seem interchangeable to me. I really like both!

Hi Angie! I was thrilled to see you were reviewing the new IT cosmetics foundation! I started using it a couple of days ago and I absolutely LOVE it! It does have a soft radiance as you mentioned and it wore perfectly for 7 hours. I think it would have lasted longer but I have only been wearing for 6-7 hours. I used the IT cosmetics poreless primer and a little bit of the NYX setting powder. I am really happy with it! I have Normal to Dry skin. Thanks for reviewing ! 😊❤️

I am so happy to hear about foundation Fridays. I desperately need a new light coverage foundation and I’m having a horrible time trying to colour match or know what particular foundations feel like on my skin. I’ve already had two fails in the past month so I am feeling a little discouraged. I love how you show the application of each foundation and discuss the way they last over time.

I completely agree about the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. It is amazing and even improves the wear of my foundation when I am wearing a mask. This is my no go to foundation as well.

I use my Laura Mercier tinted primer and I mix it with my foundation. It makes a huge difference. Without the LM primer. The foundation is all over my face mask.

I am 57 years old, and most liquid foundations make me so shiny and greasy looking! Thinking I will try the primer you used, although Elf, just came out with one that similar and a lot less expensive!

IT cosmetics bye bye foundation is one of my holy grails. I like the CC cream too, but think the bye bye foundation gives nicer coverage and doesn't look bad at the end of the day. I do set it with pressed powder (CT).

Absolutely agree!! I have a really good skin care ritual, I just want good makeup ! Not stuff that doesn’t work and says it has a good for you ingredient!!

Wow! I really appreciate how thoroughly you evaluated this - especially trying it in different light(s) as well as the “phone test”. You really know what we all need to have in a daily foundation and what we actually need to know.

I want to try this foundation. I don’t mind skin care in my foundation but I’m still going to do my regular skin care routine. I don’t think there’s enough actual skin care benefits in the amount of product used. I’m glad Foundation Friday is back! I love trying foundations!

Beautiful as always! 🌸I think the skincare in foundation thing, isn't there to replace good skincare, but to extend and complete range of the benefits. As long as those beneficial ingredients don't compromise the performance of the foundation, then they're just a little extra pampering. And lord knows, we can all do with more of that! 😆

I can't thank you enough. I went to Ulta and picked up the new IT better than skin. I'm 63 years old and I've been using the It CC cream mixed with my Elta MD sunscreen,but not anymore thanks to you. Its nothing like the CC cream. My skin is normal to dry and I can now wear the foundation over the Elta sunscreen instead of having to mix it. I really can't thank you enough. I just love your KZfaq channel. ❤

I'm iffy on whether I care to have skincare in my foundation or powder. I'm very glad you are doing this again because I never changed a thing. I love putting on my makeup and my lip products make my lips feel and look good regardless. I'm in my mid 50's and still have oily skin so I hope this works for me still because I have a bottle to try. The oil means I always set with powder.

Angie, I think this foundation looks beautiful on you. I just purchased it at Ulta in shade 11. I was worried because they don't do testers, but the cosmetologist did a great job matching me. I wore it yesterday and really liked it. It does not settle into pores and I do have large pores. So far so good! Thanks for the recommendation!

Angie! About your pores...17 year Esthetician here with a great suggestion for you! If you are aware of pore appearance then try ZO SkinHealth Instant Pore Refiner!!! Its no joke! Results are 3rd party tested and results are measured in the Visia CR using pixel intensities. They measure pore size results at baseline and again at 4 weeks . They also took images of skin texture and roughness baseline and 4 weeks and it improves that as well. It's great stuff!

It reminds me of the before times when looking good still mattered, and when being girly with beauty products brought joy. You are gorgeous, and so very skilled in beauty things. I’ve used IT cosmetics for years! I’m knowing it’s not a replacement for skin care? Obviously, but their cc cream and foundation is SO skin friendly and for the last 10 or so years? Fabulous... and I’ve even tried other foundations, and always come back to IT...And I need full coverage, not light coverage, which wouldn’t make a difference as this is a great company with great products...

Great review as always. You look great and the fur baby is adorable. I have to try this one as I am using the Futurist and kind of liking it.

Shelly (Geek Out of Water) reviewed this too and was quite impressed. The part that first caught her eye, and therefore my interest, was the shade range. The other IT products (CC cream etc.) all pull so yellow on me, but this one seems to have an actual range including true neutrals and cool/pink undertones. Woohoo! And she really likes the formula too. When I commented that *maybe* IT was finally getting on the “we’re not all yellow” bandwagon, her reply was, “ I don’t want to jinx it, but I think they finally get it.” (She and I have very similar coloring.). I may have to seek this one out in my winter shade later this year.

I showed my sister your lighting video for good video meetings. She showed it to the teachers at her school so they can look their best for their students. They are also looking to see if the school can invest in lighting. Some of those teachers look like they are teaching from a dungeon 😂. So thanks for videos!!

I absolutely LOVE the Estee Futurist foundation from a previous review, along with the BK foundation brush (!!awesome), and the IT ByeBye Pores powder. On days without foundation, I use the Elta MD tinted sunscreen with a bit of concealer. The list goes on and on showing I’m a total Angie convert. The Cooluli fridge is full! LOL. Even though we live in central WA state forestland, I use makeup every day. Thank you so much for these reviews!!

I’m not your age I’m a fair bit younger however I love watching videos of women your age because they serve my 30s dry skin so much more than an average 20-year-old who still has teenage skin. I’m also skincare and beauty obsessed being a lifetime model and in the last few years I got fed up with watching very young women or girls as every person can look perfect when they’re 20 lol I think after watching a few videos this morning that I’m going to have to try the IT foundation, a brand I’ve never tried and thankfully is in the UK as so many videos only discuss American brands. Thanks X a million, Angie! I am Hawaiian/Korean/German with a brownish/golden skin tone SUPER hard to match foundation. I always end up mixing a couple colors which always looks a little “off”. Also my skin is mature and dry. Thanks to your awesome testing and recommendation, I bought the iT Cosmetics foundation in Medium Warm 32 and it’s such a perfect match that even my 12 yr old said “its the perfect match! For once, your face isn’t red!” Lol! Shows how well I was mixing my colors before! I don’t think it’s drying but so far haven’t given it a true chance below the mask line which around my mouth is where dryness usually shows up. So... I am super thrilled with this beautiful foundation AND it matches my skin❣️

Angie I love this foundation and the key to application is putting a dab on your hand and then putting your foundation brush into some of the dab and apply to your skin. It goes on flawlessly. Just dab a bit more for each part of your face. You don’t need much and with the foundation brush it covers beautifully. I hope you see this and give it another try!!

I recently tried this foundation and am really liking it! I spray a few squirts of setting spray on my brush, dip my brush into the pump (or 2) in my palm, then dot the foundation around my face, finally using the brush to smooth. It doesn't create those little dots in my pours, so I'm happy!

I use Fit Me Dewy and smooth my skin is as dry as the Sahara. I think I will give this a try it seems smart to have a couple you like in case ones out..

Love this foundation! Definitely a good one if you like medium coverage and skinlike finish!
