It wouldn’t work in Germany. At least I don’t think it would. German law restricts public computer gaming to 18 years old, or older. I know this because some time ago, I tried to take my 12 year old daughter to a lan center near Mainz, and was informed that I could come in, but not my daughter. So, of course, we didn’t stay. But, in a hotel room, no one would know, but anyone under 18 wouldn’t be allowed to use the computers in the lobby area.

I wish these type of hotels open up in India too. Or the hotels with sleep capsules or any hotels with gaming equipment in the lobby, that is given for free to the customers who would be staying in a suite or a room

I just came back from the hotel after a 2 day stay at taoyuan taiwan, it was definitely worth every penny spent on this hotel, everything is nice and neatly designed i think it exceed any 4-5 star hotels apart from those gym and swimming pool stuff. The breakfast served are great, the room services are great and most importantly the beds are the best I’ve slept so far. So yes please get them more attention and we need more of these hotels in the future!

Eli Clendenin me and my gf were having the couple room (twin bed) and it was around 2700NTD and around 80 dollars for USD. For a night, they have different variation and price different during weekdays and weekends, i think the best that you go to their website and check it out!

Heck yeah its very cheap in compared of what they offering for each room, and beware that you might be staying up all night playing games which is all this hotel is about, don’t forget to appreciate their bed too, you can ask them for a controller and play games on the TV which i highly recommend it, hope they bring more of these hotel globally so i can visit them all as i travel

Probably not that much considering there wasn't anything very power hungry, and it's not like those video cards are running 24/7 unless they're mining crypto. Shit, the air conditioning alone would cost a thousand times more than every single LED in the building combined.

They kept their word. Current specs are: 3060RTX graphics card/AMD 5600X CPU/DDR4. It seems they changed to having gaming pcs in every room rather than in a common space, likely due to covid. The information is sparse in english so idk the details

6:15-that is my pc setup right there Altho I7 8700 16gb ram 1060 6gb 10tb storages - lots and lots 100s of games - much being emulated Only 40" television @ 1080 60Hz- so much better then 22" monitor Cabled mouse and keyboard - will always be quicker then bluetooth or wifi

I seen one of the harnesses but havent used one but supposedly it distributes the weight to make it easier on the camera man but as i say i cant verify that without using one myself...

It looks more like a protection for the actual lens opening. I have no idea if it is a professional camera or not, but the last time I saw a high end digital camera (100k euro range) the lens opening was not much smaller.

I mean, the way I see it is that you have a hotel with amazing internet, everything you need to stay comfortable and a few computers if you want to relax for a bit... The name of "gamer hotel" sure seems sketchy but I think this competes with normal hotels in a lot of different ways.

The only problem I have with this is people downloading viruses, yes the drives clean automatically but viruses have tricks and get into WiFi’s, multiple devices so when a device’s drive is clear, the virus from a computer that hasn’t been cleared can transfer. Just a bit of a concern.
