You guys out there who say: "the original was better" and "this is shitty" gotta understand that every cover is just a tribute to a great song/band and cannot and will never reach the orginal but also does not want to do that, just wanna show that this song functions even in the metal genre. Damn you could even make a hip-hop song out of it. Anyway thanks for sharing :) peace

Ray Bee Ya know you had me until you said hip hop. now I am one of those people that loves nearly every type of music. with the exception of pop music because that shit is just shit, any subgenre of metal that uses screaming, and I'm not too much into contemporary jazz. This song would not function in a hip hop song regardless if I like that genre, that just would be terrible. they would have to change nearly everything about the song thus no longer even a cover.

I want you to know, this is my favorite Hotel California cover of all time. It is rocking as fuck, the music is gloriously metal, and the use of your vocal range and the decision when to "sing" and when to "growl/sing" is just perfect. It is packed with so much emotion. Beautifully done.
