I fully agree with Chris 84. I don't mean to steal it can be used as a warning, which is not the case. The sentence refers to an action in the past, meaning I did not mean to steal it when I packed the bath towel.

4:19 that's a past sentence so I think he should have said " I didn't meant to steal it". "I don't mean to steal it" is wrong in my opinion.
