@@Sam-bz1hr ...no, sorry - I only recorded this one because it was the week the annual Beatles Convention was held there . I last stayed there for what would've been John's 80th birthday , and my ankle got scratched by an exposed bedspring - so I turned the mattress over ! I was kept awake most of the night by people slamming doors and messing about running up and down the fire escape ....after visiting the pubs and clubs I expect...

Couldn't do it now. This was filmed in 1997, and in 1998 the National Minimum Wage Act came into place which would stop such a penalty for low paid workers.

It's ok for base to explore Liverpool and it's cheap and if you go on a national holiday coach trip Beatles weekend special from teesside say it's £99 including bed breakfast (buffet style) it's a great way to see Liverpool including The entertainment thrown in as well as a 99p bar

He was a nuisance and probably a professional one. He should be on a register of professional complainers and banned from hotels in future. Every hotel has a range of rooms and an old one such as the Adelphi will have some terrible ones, some amazing suites and everything in between. If you book the cheapest discount room when the hotel is full, expect the worst. In fact he did not get the worst as some guest rooms at the Adelphi don't even have windows. Caveat emptor. He was a nuisance for using up staff time to the detriment of his fellow guests. Ban him on a public register.

Aww, Keith... can only infer that you interviewed with Britannia Hotels but didn't get hired? They aren't super choosey - I'd be bitter too!!
