They had Andy Samberg AND Adam Sandler. Of course it was gonna be hilarious! And Adam Sandler had so many comedy movies that had you laughing and crying, it's a no brainer!

This movie is great to watch in October. Not only it’s a great satire of classic monsters, there is also so many celebrities. Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, just to name a few. I like how funny this movie is, and it’s a movie about monsters in a hotel.

The great thing about this series is that there are at least two or three sequels so if you ever need a bit of a palate cleanse after too much horror, you can systematically inject one or two of the sequels to help adjust your internal barometer

Great movie! :) "Bleh bleh bleh" is actually a reference to Bela Lugosi, a famous vampire actors accent in early Hollywood times.

I always enjoy the reactions. I find 'Hotel Transylvania' to be a fun little movie, I love the more cartoony slapstick and of course the vision of Genndy Tartakovsky. Astounding that it's like this considering that it shuffled through about 5-6 directors before it went into full production. I actually prefer the sequels though, and would recommend them, despite what their "ratings" might be.

If you like more comedic Halloween movies, I would recommend 1, Young Frankenstein 2, Warm Bodies (I like this one its like a romantic comedy but from a zombies point of view, or 3, Hocus Pocus.

If you want something different, there's an American cult classic by the title, 'They Call Me Bruce.' It has a lot of pop culture that you aren't likely to get (they're mostly from 1970's TV, my dad had to explain them to me) but it is REALLY funny even if you don't get those. Its basically about a Chinese guy who...well he isn't stupid exactly, but he's really naive. The main thing he has going for him is that he looks like Bruce Lee. He does know _a _*_little_* kung fu but mostly bluffs his way through fights. Oh and he unknowingly works for the Italian mob.

There are 4 of them but i have not seen the forth one yet any way I actually liked this one because it's not something you expect to see in a movie and it brings are the favorite monsters to one place as well. Happy Spooky season Mary it is my favorite holiday but sadly we don't celebrate it where I am living. I did celebrate it when I was younger though and still living in Canada.

@21:30 Dracula: Are you certain that if we came out in the open, everyone would accept us? NO, not everyone. BUT if you found Johnny here who can accept you, and isnt harmful, then there must be others. You dont have to open this hotel to everyone, but how about one group at a time. As word spreads, people will either return, or spread the word and have others visit. You can fight those that arnt accepting later, or avoid them all together. BUT dont shun all humans in general, especially if this one kid is obviously an exception. Technically, a frankenstein monster could also smell human. Thats because they are built with human parts. Same with zombies, who was human, and could still smell like that. The rat isnt wrong, but a human smell can be from a few different things.

I first saw this headline and thought you were doing TRANSYLVANIA 6-5000(New World Pictures, 1985), the erstwhile American/Yugoslav venture with Jeff Goldblum and Ed Begley, Jr. - which you might add to your Oct. List - it's a comedy, and not as creepy as KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE (MGM,1988), but might enjoy.

Last year, I was in Transylvania, touring one of Dracula's castles. A lot of European tourists were there all speaking different languages. A woman saw something with a picture of Dracula on it and immediately goes "bleh bleh bleh"

tbf Drac had lost his wife to the kind of humans that he was showing Mavis with the Zombies at the start, how would he have known that humans would mellow out since when he lived in isolation? personally, i find his actions justified.

Hi Mary, for a less scary option consider the 1944 British film (The Halfway House) starring Mervyn Johns & his daughter Glynis. Best to watch it without research, if you do. Should you require any October suitable comedies, try the 1937 film (Topper), (Arsenic & Old Lace) 1944 both starring Cary Grant. For Colour films try, (Blithe Spirit) 1945 starring Rex Harrison or (Bell, Book & Candle) starring James Stewart. All have good supporting casts as well.

I really hope there will be a hotel Transylvania 5! And in the first movie Dennis would be a big brother to twin sisters! And he will name them Martha and Mina! One was named after their grandmother and the other was named after a character from The story book of Dracula! And I could picture Dracula calling his twin granddaughters his little black cats!🐈⬛🐈⬛

It’s actually Frankenstein’s Monster. Because “Frankenstein” is his father/creator Dr. Frankenstein in the original universal monsters movie & the book it’s based on & in this universe as well which won’t be mentioned in this movie but if I remember correctly then the second one will mention that. Common misconception though so I don’t blame you for getting the name wrong in the beginning of the video
