You forgot to mention that the sofa folds out into a comfortable double bed and upon request, they will make up the sofa bed with extra pillows and covers

Thanks Matt! It was one of our favorite rooms yet :) I really loved how the amenities were eco-friendly and everything was made with sustainability and the Mexican culture in mind.

Hi. What about a family who has a 15 and 11 yrs old, is there any twin rooms where parents can have privacy, my daughter doesn't like the idea of the bath in the the room.

It depends on the room you book - but we always request it when booking to cover all our bases :)

How was the weather in this month, I heard November is huracanes time in Cancun??

Hurricanes are most likely to occur in Cancun from August to October. But it’s important to keep in mind that hurricane season spans from June to November. We personally haven’t experienced one there in November.

Hi! I have a question, is the occidental the same thing as xcaret resort??? When I go on Travelocity occidental at xcaret is always the first option. I don’t understand the difference I was wondering maybe you might be able to help me out, if they’re not the same which one you would recommend stay at. Thank you :)

Hi Emitta! No the Occidental is a different resort. This resort is fairly new. You do have access to all 8 of the parks (9 now!) during your stay here (like Occidental)! You can read my entire review here: vacation-couple.com/hotel-xcaret-mexico-things-to-know-before-visiting/ Hope this helps!

Occidental is next door. Not nearly as nice as this place. Don’t get me wrong, occidental is good and well worth the price.

What are some good rooms? I know you stayed at that one, but did you look into other ones or heard of other ones? Me and quite a few friends want a really good view because we are going to make a video here.

xManInSky We saw both this room type, and one room in Fuego that had the same layout. So no different room categories this time.

Our experience here was booked through Air Canada Vacations (and included accommodations, park excursions, and transportation).

Ariana Acuna Yes there’s complete privacy in the bathroom! You can close the sliding doors for privacy in the shower, and you have both a door and privacy window in the toilet area.

Tengo una pregunta yo me hice socio del Occidental Cancún Resort Club Mi pregunta es la siguiente voy a ir para junio del 2019 para el hotel Xcaret es habitación es la misma que me van a dar a mí como socio Esa es la misma habitación la que le llaman estudio????

¡Hola! No estoy seguro de qué habitación “el estudio” está en el hotel xcaret. Occidental es un hotel completamente diferente a Xcaret con diferentes categorías de habitaciones.
