3 жыл бұрынWe stayed in Berjaya Waterfront, Johor Bahru in August 2020. Right after Covid-19 first wave came and subsided.
We were in total disbelief and shocked with this hotel under such a reputable name. It is totally unexpected and heartbreaking. The pandemic may have played a part in this and it needs to get back to it's former glory.

It was. There's a mall, ferry terminal, clubs, bars and restaurants. Unfortunately all not operating during the pandemic.

Little to do with the pandemic. This is typical of Malaysia, build, let it deteriorate and when you've pissed off all potential guests close it down and build a new one. Johor Bahru is full of similar example, the Pan Pacific for example.

I don't think it is. It's just unfortunate that it was empty a couple of years ago.
