Just noticed a SICK detail in the first minute of the video where the clock on the wall behind Rhea shows the as being almost the same as the time of the texts she's getting. That's some crazy attention to detail right there!

Couple things: Firstly, this is awesome, the beginning work with the selective focus was incredible, and the framing was fantastic. I especially loved the ending: the slo mo walk with the machine gun, (the framing of it was incredible) and despite the lead wearing a mask, a sense of inner-conflict was delivered extremely well, and executed in an amazing fashion. My only real critique is when the lead raises the machine gun at the end, I feel from an artistic standpoint that it could have cut to black, and the gun shots and screams still ring out... it would give the ending a slightly ambiguous and give the massacre a connotation of being so violent it was 'censored'. It's a little thing that I really didn't mind, I still really love the work and effort you must have put into it and I look forward for more :-)

Jaden Saied You've given a wonderful critique! In depth reviews of my work are always a pleasure, alas how rare since most people say my videos are simply "great, awesome, epic". I appreciate your review since I see it made an impact, and that's always gratifying!
@Redfoxx4eva
@Redfoxx4eva 4 жыл бұрын
i thought the same thing until i realized the creator probably thought of this already (and chose against it, as thats what every novice director would do) . im not trying to critique you critique just for lolz though. you see i was surprised that cut to black dint happen. but when do you ever actually get to see the massacre happen in movies where they cut away. and instead of coping out risingjake chose to show it. although for some people leaving it to thier imagination would seem the obvious choice, its a stupid idea when the director is capable of producing the scene instead. im not gunna offer any criticism. instead let me give out a constructive compliment lol. the way you cut the ending after zooming into the fox mask was amazing. i felt like it implied it maybe over for us but its not over for the fox. it even felt kind of jarring, but in a good way. as the whole movie was following this fox charchter. the viewer starts to feel like they are on the rampage as well. but theres a change in tone right when the elevator doors close.

I know this is two years old now, I’m late to the party, and I don’t know if you’ll see this. But I wanted to say this Thank you. This is something I watch many times a week, if not daily. The quality is something so impressive it is almost hard to fathom. This has inspired me, a small group of mine on GTA5 have started a small group like “The Fans” And we just have fun in these little persona’s. We enjoy it so much. And I’m thanking you. I doubted it would work, that I could make the idea. But you showed it can. Thank you.

i watched the full movie first and, Jake, u were right about the ending; after ive seen these prequels to the movie. the end scene in this one... the "hotline" in the movie was right, it was something in her... so now i can agree, the main character has a lot to decipher in herself before she can be free and in the clear. but id actually like to see a bit more of her sister's (in the movie) background now. i really think u should do some precursor's to that girl's story as well, which would balance things out, to u writing a superb sequel to the movie! i really see the "hotline miami" in this! the action choreography and editing to the upbeat music is topnotch, with the slow down for impact! but as u developed the character in the movie, she really does become more of the Destroyer, she just has a urge to destroy what's good.... makes me miss the the sister character now, how do the 'Bulls' pick the girls? what are the try-outs? some good questions that can lead to good answers! great work!!! its just so inspiring!

Were you going for a red riding hood aesthetic with the main character? Fox mask throws it off a lil, but it seemed close. nonetheless, great video. I could clearly envision what it would look like with real actors, and for a machinima the "camera work" and the angles used were incredible! Earned yourself a sub.
