One thing I have picked up on if its vibrating or starting to vibrate, you have a bit to much in there. Dont forget all washing machines have to vibrate. if they didnt they would just break up, so just take care and try not to over load or it maybe something has balled up on distribute.

Hi Kevin, yes, that’s true, luckily the machine will ping and stop if it’s gets too bad for you to re distribute the load, I’ve never had that issue before, but once or twice I have noticed the machine has come forward a bit, but carried on. Thanks for the advice my friend. 🙏🏻🤗

I'm getting a F 11 fault coming up on mine any help would be greatly received I've checked all the obvious water turned on no kink in water pipe etc

If your Hotpoint or Indesit washing machine lights are flashing with an F11 error code or on the digital display, it is generally associated with an emptying or draining problem. If your washer is not draining properly the most likely cause is debris stuck in the filter.

If there is no response from the buttons I’m afraid it’s a control panel issue, you’d probably need a new control panel. As the buttons are touch, there’s not much room for repair.

i have a question that I have no clue whether anyone here will be able to answer. So i washed a down pillow tonight and I heard that you're meant to wash those on a no-spin cycle. So i did that using my hotpoint washing machine and then when i took it out (unsurprisingly) it was SOAKED with water. it was like holding a sack full of water. Tried wringing out all I could but no human is that strong. it's now in my tumble dryer on low heat with three dry towels that will hopefully help it dry, but my dryer is also being really iffy at the minute. I was wondering what the "spin and pump out" setting is and whether that would be any good for wringing out the pond of water that is in my pillow. Also, i washed this pillow by itself with no other pillows because i thought it would be better to do them one at a time so i was able to sleep with one every time the other was in the wash.

I have a few pillow wash videos on my Miele playlist, I washed feather pillows and yes, definitely spin them, but take care of balancing, I don’t put more than 2 in at a time and slowly crank up to fastest spin.

Its great until the bearings go. And then prepare yourself for a massive bill. Due to the design bearings cannot be removed so you need to buy the whole drum assembly. I've just learn that the hard way.

My aqualtis has corroded just under the rubber seal of the door. I bought it in jan 2015 ( I think). Any idea why it happened and what should I do now with this rusty bit

You can rub it down with fine sand paper, paint on som Kurust and then some enamel paint over that, depending on the colour of the machine.

Sorry I couldn't be much use, but my mate did say that you need to make sure all or any residue or limescale on the inner bowl of the glass and the rubber seal.

This is what I found out. F12 indicates the main board at the bottom rear and the display board in the facia are not communicating. The wiring between them needs to be tested and if all is well you'll likely end up replacing the main board and possibly the display board too.

You can’t. The only way you can is to let the machine fill and work for 10 mins, pause it, let the door unlock and the add water that way, but the doors open so what’s the point

Hey, you know that the water go accross your drower and take the mud and put it in your clothes? So everything you wash ther have the same mud under, is very important clean your machine

Try holding the button for a few seconds and that may cancel it, normally 3 to 5 seconds. I can’t remember having that issue, I hope it’s not a fault with the machine 🧐

I don’t have this machine any more, I just used the time saver option to shorten load times, you could only use it in certain programmes.

Wait , i was wrong , the time saver option would only reduce the time but it doesn't alter the rinsings on full load Also , i recommend doing a maintenance wash on 90°C with any type of washing machine cleaner each 2/3 months

I recently discovered this machine does a 90 wash 🤣🤣🤣🤣, I’ve done a few white 90 washes, but yes, I will put my washing machine cleaner through it today after seeing this message. Thank you my friend.

Yeah, I always do, it’s always left open a crack in between uses and thankfully I’ve never had a smelly machine. Wish I could send a snap as it’s now on a 90 wash with a bottle of washing machine cleaner I got from Aldi.

And if i can give you a tip, use only powder detergent, the liquid and wrost the pods, leave a lot of residue on your machine and it gona last nothing, trust me, is like if you have a ferrari and dont put he gasoline in, have an amazing washing machine give her the right detergent. Only powder

I only use powder with the white was and half half with colour and only pods with darks as the powder sometimes leaves residue on my dark clothes, so it does get a good clean out too every few months with a washing machine cleaner. Thanks for the advice 😂😂😍

HooverLux thank you to for sharing the video of your amazing washing machine, but the way the dark programs always have a super rinse, extra rinse for avoid powder residue, you can also add an extra rinse, but the way if you only use the pods for dark and for the rest only powder im think your are gona be ok, just a cleaning cycle every mounth for limescale and detergent residue, there are a lot of product for this use.. thank you so much from Italy 🇮🇹 I love uk, I allways came there to spend my vacation in London, amazing kindness people's 😍😍😍

Awwwww, thank you my friend. Where I live the water is very very hard, so I always use a washing machine De scaling tablet called Calgon. I’m positive it helps. I think using the powder on whites at a high temp also helps🙏🏻, so far so good. I’ve not been to mainland Italy yet, but I’ve been to the island of Elba and that was awesome.

I prefer the LG as the drum is bigger and I can see inside the door, plus I didn’t like the fact you couldn’t access the drawer at all firming the wash.

este código de error es drenaje. Deberá comprobar la manguera de aguas residuales, la bomba y también el filtro.

To be honest I was going to buy this washing machine for my mum for Christmas but it was £600 on Tesco website so I was like sod that so I brought a washer dryer what was £320

+mathew marsh I just wanted a machine that if I looked after and used as instructed, would last a decent length of time. The other factor was the large capacity for washing bedding and big loads in one go and was really energy efficient. The price is definitely a put off, but I’d bought 2 roughly 300 quid machines in the past 10 years and they’d not been as reliable. It’s luck of the draw tbh.

It's not direct drive only lg washing machines do that and lg have patents the direct drive so no other company can use it but your hotpoint has a brushless motor witch means it's very quiet and just as good

How reliable are these? My foster mum had a hotpoint from the late 70s up until the mid 90s it was still going but they moved and just left it. It's not a joke but that thing was going nonstop, it took care of 5 adults 4 kids for over 2 decades. At the maximum there were 13 people in the home, plus 3 dogs. No idea what they're like now but in the new house they got a hotpoint which from memory was quickly replaced by a Bosch.

Apparently the fact this one lasted as long as it did is a miracle I’ve been told, so apparently it’s not. I wouldn’t buy or own a modern Hotpoint at all. I’d rather have a Beko or a Siemens.

@@HooverLux lg direct drive is a motor which directly connects to the back of the drum, other brands have the motor in the standard place, at the bottom of the drum

That is a good idea, but I always leave the door and drawer open a crack which prevents any of that. I’ve never had a machine suffer from smells cause I do that little trick. My mum and nan did the same.

FrownyFace Hey Frowny Face 😘. I know exactly what you mean! When I found out I’d have to buy the whole bloody drum and recommended new seals and a heater I thought stuff this and went for the LG. I know it’s not the best machine, but I loved its capacity, quietness and the cycles are fun. Plus I had almost 500 quid off as it was a scratched (cosmetic damage) so I couldn’t say no! 🤣. I did want to fix the HotPoint, but I’m glad I didn’t in the end.

I fix myself bearings in a drum. Drum must cut off then U can fix bearing. You can use silicon for 300°C and glue drum again. Make holes on drum and use screws. I can sent U photo how it looks.
