I was 8 back when this came out in 2007, it was a childhood classic over the years and it’s HIGHLY underrated! Hilarious, unique and timeless. At 21 I still laugh like crazy at it and can quote it, time flies!

I was almost 11 when Andy Sambergs career sky rocketed from his first debut in Hot Rod. Of course I didn't know him until Hotel Transylvania when that was released. I'm a little upset with the fact that film series is ending soon.

I can understand why Rico ran after blowing that charge on Rod. I heard he nearly blinded Jaime Lee Curtis on Freaky Friday. This could ruin him.

At the time of this movie, I showed it to my step dad that I absolutely hated. He was a complete an utter douchebag. At the time I was about 19 and beat him up and asked him if he’d give me respect… he didn’t he rang the police and pressed charges on me and I spent 6 months in jail for assault. In jail i was scared and often thought of home. I was a complete idiot, please never do what I did think about what you do and remember accountability

You can see how Rod's role was written for Will Ferrell. Andy Samburg basically is playing the role as Will Ferrell would have played it.

Hot Rod was pretty good. I’m more of a fan of MacGruber, Jorma Taccone who played Kevin in this movie directed it. It has Andy Samberg and Bill Hader’s SNL contemporaries Will Forte and Kristen Wiig. If you are fan of Hot Rod you gotta check out MacGruber!!!
