I checked out both and the Kia dealer had little interest in talking with me and the wife and told us there was a SIX month waiting list. Ok, he sold me. I went over to the Hyundai lot and bought a Palisade. (and Love it)

Just got a 2021 Kia Telluride SX Prestige nightfall edition in moss green and couldn’t be happier!!! Considering how hard it is to find them we were able to get extremely lucky and find the exact one we were looking for with all the bells and whistles.

Howdy, amazing comparison as always y’all! While I think the Pallisade looks better on the outside and the driving dynamics are similar, I think the Telluride is better on the inside, but to be honest, they’re both amazing mid sized SUV’s! I actually think Mason should get one of these when he sells the Elantra!😸😻😸

Don't think you could go wrong with either as a family vehicle. I prefer the Telluride personally: the exterior aesthetics of the Nightfall is a much better look. However the Interior of the Palisade seem a little more luxurious. I love your comparison vids.....GREAT WORK !!!

I don't think there are better reviewers on KZfaq, at least comparison reviews! Great work brothers! For me, the Telluride will take years to "age", versus the "take it or leave it" Palisade. LOVE the interior of the Palisade(though the removal of the Alcantara headliner and other decontenting on the Limited to make room for the Calligraphy is unfortunate) though. Maybe with Kia starting to move a little upmarket themselves (new K5, refreshed Stinger) seems to indicate a heavy refresh for the Telluride. The Palisades are plentiful in my area, but Tellurides are being sold as they reach dealer's lots.

I have the Palisades. It is very plush and luxurious. In addition it has a very smooth ride and handling. I was looking at a Lexus , Infiniti, Audi but happy I purchased the Palisades. Saved lots of money and I feel it is comparable.

Both are excellent, but I would go with the Palisade, especially in that white color, also easier to find on dealer lots as well. I sat in one at the LA Auto show right before they first went on sale & it looked & felt like a luxury car.

My wife and I tried for close to 1 year to buy a Kia Telluride. We were unable to do so since they are in such high demand. We were told time and time again to look at the Hyundai Palisade as an alternative option. We finally decided to look at the Palisade last week. We fell in love with it via video reviews we watched on KZfaq. We ended up buying a 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited trim a few days ago. We absolutely love it so far.

I did a lot of homework of the two....So finally I did test drive the Hyundai Palisade, it was okay even though I'm in my early 60s young at heart,It felt like it was for the Older,Older folks.I then went to a Kia Dealer they didn't even have a Telluride on there dealer lot but I was convince looking at the two online with my research, I went ahead and place an Order on the Telle around 3 months ago.I got the Telle about 2 weeks ago and it was definitely the right choice..I love my new Killer-Ride..There is a reason why you will see dozens of Hyundai Palisade on dealer lots..The Telle is out pacing the H.P. 5 to 1..Numbers don't lie,The Telle is the hottest selling Mid Size SUV on the market...Nuff Said..Rob

Looking at the sales for 2019 the Telluride did sell 2 to 1, however in 2020 the Palisade is currently ahead by a significant margin. There definitely was never a 5 to 1 advantage though. Both are amazing in my opinion.

What’s gonna be great about this is that once people get over the fact that to a “Kia” or it’s a “Hyundai”, the Germans are going to have to start making their cars more reliable, and cut the bull shit with the “starts at 35k” but “oh, you wanted a XYZ with that?” You’ll have to get our 20k dollar X package that will be in the shop the first month you buy it.”

For me, Telluride all day. The face of the Palisade is a deal breaker and I know I'm out numbered, but I prefer the analog gages of the Telluride. Why do manufacturers go out of their way to make entry/start up chimes so annoying? LOL

Telluride is better one. There are so many problems with Palisade in Korea now. for example, gasket leaks and when it rained water actually leaks into the cabin etc..

Test drove them both and they are both awesome SUVs for the money. I went with the Telluride solely based on the sportier look both inside and out. If the Palisade front grill were a little less horsey I would have had to toss a coin. To me the Palisade has more a more cush/lux feel and Telluride has a more fun/sporty feel. Both awesome choices. I've had my Telluride now for 3 days and I still can't stop looking at it. It's perfect. When I pull in to the parking lot of the single track trail with my Telluride and my Mountain Bike on back it feels like the perfect fit.

I bought the 2020 Limited Palisade in black and blacked out the chrome and added the new calligraphy rims (not from Hyundai but aftermarket). The palisade looks with a unofficial Night Fall Pkg

I was convinced to get a Telluride around Oct 1 2020 because I had a KIA Sorento that I lease and the lease was up Oct 1. I did lots of research between the Palisade and the Telluride and leaned towards the Telluride, only thing that I didnt like about the Telluride SX was the ugly black colored wheels, I wanted Chrome much classier. Couldnt get a Telluride dealers couldnt keep them on the lots, test drove both liked both, did some calling and a Hyundai dealer got back with me and we hooked up, I leased a Palisade Limited, love it couldnt be happier and it is a 2021 with nice looking wheels. Great vehicle, great mileage for its size and AWD, more luxurious than Telluride, fantastic bang for your buck, plus free maintance during my 3 yr lease cant beat that, plus Hyundai dealer was 150 dollars a month cheaper on lease, very happy.
