Drums practice should be done in soundproof room away from baby's sensitive ears that can be factually damaged by drums or other loud instruments. Leads to hearing loss , deafness or painful tinnitus that can also include vertigo and headaches to migraines too for babies , young children to adults. Wrong on many levels for your own baby. We have separated soundproof music room ourselves at home. 😮

I think that’s awesome. My dad plays the drums and he would play to wake us up in the morning and it’s awesome. It’s actually a really great way to wake up your mind or I guess in this case put a baby to bed that Kid’s gonna have rhythm for sure.

My dad always put me to sleep while he played the drums. Since I was a baby. I am 37 next week and if my dad plays his drums now - I still get soothed to sleep

Noises go deep into dreams of sleepers and could be disturbing to the sleepers, a baby’s room should have calm and soothing noises!

Literally nothing wrong with having drums near the baby … it’s actually better to have loud noises near the baby especially when sleeping so that they’ll get used to sounds and you won’t have a baby who wakes at the sound of a pin dropping . We leave the tv on in our while we sleep , and my kids sleep through EVERYTHING , I can do laundry , vacuum , whatever I need to do while my babies sleep because noises don’t bother them !! You might think you need it quiet for the baby , until you’re at a family gathering and your baby is cranky and won’t stop crying because it can’t fall asleep because it needs a dark quiet room … My husband played loud music throughout my pregnancies , and sometimes cranking the radio up is the ONLY thing to calm down my 5month old son, and his sister was the same way. The sound of the bass soothes him and knocks him right out 🤷🏽‍♀️ But regardless , let remember that it’s never okay to tell a parent that they’re parenting choices are “horrible” just because it’s not something you would do . If baby is happy , healthy and unharmed . Please politely mind your business and say good job 😊

Some will sleep through anything. But I see a problem with that because of the times we live in. You never know if there's gonna be an invasion, or LE is at the wrong house or right house, and kicks in your door. You are gonna have a rude awakening. All kinds of stuff can happen before you finallt wake up.

My son had colic as a baby and the only way I could sooth him was to put him in my diesel suburban and drive up and down the highway. I remember telling my husband he going to be a diesel mechanic. He's now 27 and has been a diesel mechanic since 16 years old. Started working with my dad but then my dad had to retire due to kidney failure. My son is a heavy duty diesel mechanic for a big company, but also works on boats with diesel engines. Her baby will be just fine!

Babies do need to get used to noise so they dont wake up to every noise.....in saying that i dont know that the drums are the way to go about it. 😂 My grandmother used to put the radio on in our room. I can sleep through absolutely anything now . To the point when i was late teens and house across the road from was burning down, 5 fire engine 5 cops car and two ambulance, all with sirens and a very large and understandably upset irish family screaming.....i didnt hear a thing 🫢 (No one was hurt)
