TOP TIP FLIP EVER ^^

Thank you very nice tutorial. It would be cool to see procedural blood splatters generation on a surface. Character face for example.

Thanks for checking out the video Mordecai. Pretty soon I'll be done with Fluids I. It's not a demonstration on blood splatters, but it will give you the knowledge on how to go about that sort of thing on a FLIP solver.

@@cgforge Ok. that's cool. I'll keep an eye on it.

Nice tutorial! Quick question - Is there a reason to use multiple smooth nodes as opposed to using delta mush?
@cgforge9 ай бұрын
I think that was whatever came to mind in the moment. You're welcome to try delta mush and see how it goes though.

Sure thing! I was just curious if there was a advantage to doing the multi-smooth approach. So many different ways to do the same thing in Houdini:)@@cgforge

Hey Tyler, I used the RemeshGrid smoothing technique from this tip but didn't realise I'd lose all my velocity data. Is there a way to get this back? (I've cached the surface and it's 2000 frames..)
@cgforge5 ай бұрын
Hey @danacarvey , you could try using an attribute transfer node to bring it back

So this should work even though the vert count etc. is way different?@@cgforge
