Hey Mister Mat! Thanks for your tutorial helped a lot. I've just started learning Houdini and I'm running into a problem I can't find node RS builder material. Is this material only available in commercial version? how can I collect or replace this material? I'm working on non-commercial version 19 and can't find a material node that can even come close to the one you use in the video. I tried to assemble it manually but my Houdini doesn't find the nodes that are inside this material. For this material, should I install some additional plugins? Or is he going in default? please help. thank you in advance for your response.

Thanks for the comment! RS Material is part of the Redshift plugin which is an external render engine that many people use in Houdini. RS Material Builder is therefore not available by default and you would have to install this external plugin. I am afraid that it is not available for use if you are using the free Houdini version. You would need Houdini Indie at least.

oh, nice, I actually have Houdini Indie in free version. do I have to open it to connect the RS or I also have to download the addon you are talking about. is this add-on available on Houdini's website? I am usually working with MtLX Standard surface when I work with materials. In your experience, RS material builder work better?@@mnymanVFX
