If you can get a good carpenter blindly go with him.Carpenter made kitchen is best since i can control everything, im a business man myself and i dont trust these modular kitchen factory and they they charge heavy amount. Ill sit ,watch and make my carpenter work properly. Simple thumb rule *If you are in a city and dont have time, go with modular kitchen. *If you are in tier 1, tier 2 go with carpenter made kitchen.

Informative. But then with a factory made modular kitchen, the price differential is too high to be justified, as compared to a carpenter made kitchen on site. The carpenter has to be good, but if you are able to get a good one, he delivers a better value for money product. The only downside is, sometimes the fixing of the hardware might be an issue. Thats why you need a really good carpenter.

Interesting video! The way you've explained practical issues is quite accurate. But how do we find an able local interior designer or carpenter team for the job? Apart from the big labels such as Godrej Interio etc who charge a bomb.

@houmeindia sometimes it's difficult to know what brand (ex: century, greenply) plywood/hdhmr these factories use, most of the times they have their own brand, so it's difficult to trust the quality of the core material..

Your videos are very informative. But this one is biased. Modular products may be good but In India after sales service does not exist. When have you been able to talk to a person on a call for after sales service. Using a carpenter to customise your kitchen is a far better option than modular

Hello! I think we would need after sales service as well.. I think in country like india we should use mix solutions and also have to work with trusted people with whom we are more connected on personal level because service is hard be it Modular or Carpenter.. I have seen a lot of cases where onsite made solutions also require service. But with Modular Solutions we expect service from the company but with onsite we ask any other Carpentar to come and fix things for us. So yes, both the solutions has it pros and cons and we use both in moderation level to make our project better

Very very valid point. As we are living in India, 90% company vanish after selling the product. Modular kitchen is not a showpiece. We need to use it regularly. After making full modular, if repair/service needed, company will not respond and local carpenter can't match upto that modular finish. Better to go with carpenter made, at least we can repair anytime with any good carpenter.

आपका यह वीडियो देखकर तो मैं और भी कंफ्यूज हो गई हूं कि मॉड्यूलर बनाएं या कारपेंटर से क्योंकि मेरा घर भी पुराना है और दीवारें भी टेढ़ी है । लेकिन मैं मॉड्यूलर किचन भी बनाना चाहती हूं । लेकिन आपने जो कहा मैं उसे कंफ्यूज हो गई हूं की टेढ़ी दीवार पर मॉड्यूलर किचन कैसे बनवाऊं ? बहुत सारी क्वेरीज के तो आप जवाब ही नहीं दे रहे हैं इसलिए पता नहीं मुझे आप जवाब देंगे कि नहीं । यदि सिर्फ बाहर के दरवाजे भी बनवा लें तो कहां से बनवाएं

App andar ki cabinet carpenter se banva ke bahar ke shutter factory se banva sakte hai.. ya phir ko local factory dekhe jo apka kaam achhe se karde 🙌

मेरा आजकल किचन बनाने वाला है लेकिन मैं बहुत कंफ्यूज हो रही की फैक्ट्री से बनवाएं या कारपेंटर मैंने जो कारपेंटर हायर किया है वह बोल रहा है कि मैं बना दूंगा आपको एक्रेलिक शीट लाके देनी पड़ेगी क्या मैं कारपेंटर पर विश्वास करके उसे बनवाने दे दूं या फिर आपके पास कोई फैक्ट्री का नंबर है तो मुझे प्लीज दें देना
