Hi Sourabh , I am an old subscriber and I really enjoy your videos and knowledge sharing. Could you please tell me what should we use to fill gaps between ply/wood and concrete wall? Putty is developing cracks after few months.like I have one full length wardrobe which is fixed with celing. The cracks developed between celing and plywood frame

thanks for being a subscriber! The cracks are happening because wood and concrete move differently, and putty isn't flexible enough. Here's the fix: 1. Remove the old putty. 2. Clean the gap really well. 3. Use a paintable, flexible caulk (acrylic latex or silicone). You might need a backer rod for larger gaps. This should solve the cracking problem!

Best for: Gaps where you want a seamless finish. 3. Expanding Foam: Benefits: Fills large gaps and voids, providing insulation and structural support. Best for: Gaps larger than 1/4 inch. Choose a low-expanding foam for smaller areas to avoid warping. 4. Wood Filler: Benefits: Can be sanded and stained to match your wood, creating a more seamless look. Best for: Smaller gaps in wooden surfaces where appearance is important.

Upvc go for Indian brands as German brands are expensive and practically designed for German weather standards. Which is not 100 percent applicable as indian standards. For egs - double glass used for soundproofing but it cannot do justice as per indian standards. It is made as per german standards where traffic and noises are already in limits. So go for indian brands. They also give u 10 to 20 years warranty and good after sales.
