You'll also need to reconvert the faith in starfall. I still want to see those marriages to the families of Aerys II's kingsguard.

I think a problem with vassals is when they get too much land which causes them to become powerful to the point that a small alliance between them could rival your strength

This is the same problem I had when I tried landing family members better to hold your maximum and hand out lands to courtiers.

I hope you read this, you’ve expanded too much for a duke and having so many count-tier vassals is what’s causing your problems, so what I’d suggest is declaring independence war against Dorne and working toward the decision “ Form a new Kingdom” then have 4-5 Duke vassals only that you carefully select and educate their children yourself. That would be awesome but it will make you vulnerable to attacks from The Reach more often unless you secure an alliance with them
