This prefab house also has several different options and is built as a hud manufactured home! The manufacturer for this house is Legacy Housing. The model for this home is the “S-2856-32FLP”! The thumbnail picture is of a closely related model the 2-2448-22flp. This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 1,500 square foot. Let me know what you think about the video! I'd use the bonus room for a pantry - we can and dry enough food to last at least 2 years, as well as buy other goods in bulk. I have no use for 2 full baths and would enlarge the main bathroom to have a walk-in shower instead of a tub. I don't need that big of a closet in the master bedroom, either, so taking some of that space for the bathroom is ok. Where the master bath is could be used for storage or turned into a home office. I'm not real crazy about the sink/kitchen island also being the dining table. I also prefer pocket doors for the interior, and want a window in the bathroom.

Not crazy about the closets not having doors. I'm not a dual sink person, I'd rather have a sink on one side of the counter and a linen pantry on the other. Just those minor changes and that home would be perfect! Thank you, Chance. I always enjoy watching your show. Bless your wife's heart, lol

Especially in then master bedroom... and maybe change that master bathroom door to a slide it's kind of strange that it opens up into the room.

Interesting floor plan. Definitely different. They could have put pocket doors on closets at least. I prefer to have a dining room along with island, sink beneath a window. Bonus room too small for a dining room so I would make it a pantry & also a place for freezer. Definitely choose some different colors to lighten it up a bit, especially in LR & Kitchen. As long as we're making changes... First I'd get rid of the "Bonus Room", eliminate the pantry and 2' +/- of counter on that side of the kitchen and create a dining area with double windows. Next I'd move the sink and DW to where the stove is and put a nice sized window up above them and relocate the stove with hood to where the sink was. I'd move the door between the Kitchen and Utility Room around the corner to the Hallway, run counter and cabinets along the new blank wall and relocate the refrigerator and pantry there. I'd adjust the size of the island to allow for 42" of room between the new cabinetry and and island and make the island top one flat surface. Bedrooms #2 and #3 are fine. Bath #1 is moved to where the Bedroom #1 closet is thereby keeping your plumbing runs shorter and simpler. I'd add a small window and configure it to include a spacious shower, double vanity and a commode. The space that was Bath #1 could become all closet/storage but I would have a small home office alcove right off Bedroom #1 with a nice window on the outside wall and a smaller closet taking up the remainder of the space. In Bedroom #1 I'd add two good sized windows on the blank wall far enough apart to accommodate a king size bed between them. Bath #2 would get a small window high up above the tub. After all that I think I'd have some place that would suit me.

Very cozy and homey..I love it...I love the cabinets and a definitely love the bonus room..would make a great pantry and also room for a freezer...lots of possibilities..nice living room..wish the fireplace was real...nice size bedrooms...love the porch...gotta have that porch ya'll...not bad at all.. Yes I agree with everyone else with the no door closets but I believe it could be an easy fix...considering everything you get for the price it's a good home...Chance I was glad you mentioned the chairs because I was saying the same thing...hey I thought we were going to be looking at a barn red house...lol Maybe I'm color blind...this is definitely a 9 out of 10...

I like the layout of this home, its different. I do love the fireplace & porch. I think the extra room is crying out to be a pantry. The trim around door frames and walls make it look dated. The kitchen is desperate for light, it needs windows. Great find and video, as always. Thanks Chance.

Nice small home. I would leave bonus room area open (not walled off)& have a double window there and have a small table. Utility room is nice size with room for a freezer if wanted. The open closets in bedrooms are no big deal, makes rooms seem a lil bigger, just throw up a pretty curtain on a rod & done. Would prefer drywall throughout home tho. Master bth is a good size but would swap the tub & shower areas.

I really like this one. I would never use a dining room so the island is nice. I would also use the bonus room as a pet area. There's plenty of cupboard space for me so i wouldn't need it as a pantry. It could also be used as a coat/shoe area. Just my opinion 😊

The bonus room could be a little office as well. Over in the corner where the rack is put a little desk and a computer. To me the sink and the stove are backwards. I would like to have the stove on the island with about 8 inch raised backsplash behind it of counter material just for splashes. Put a range hood coming down from the ceiling. Put the sink up against the wall with a nice window over it. That way you can cook dinner and still talk with family and friends rather than have your back to everybody.❤❤

Lack of closet doors makes the rooms look cheap. The two spare bedrooms do not have closets. Just an open shelf.

It would be helpful if you could include wind zones of the houses - either 1, 2 or 3 - so that you know if the homes meet code in buyer's area (southern parts of gulf states especially).

The only thing I liked about this one was the porch, cabinets, flooring, bonus room and countertops. There were absolutely no windows in the kitchen, so it was very dark even with the lights on! A kitchen needs windows! Didn't like the colors on the walls or the lines you could see on the walls. In the master bath, I would take out the tub and make a larger walk-in shower; it looked really tight in there. I like your videos Chance as usual, just didn't like this home very much.

Yeah I didn't like it very much either. Also I'd rather a dining area instead of a bonus room. Not everyone wants to sit at kitchen island to eat a meal. It's nice but not my taste.

A jetted tub in master would be nice and in the kitchen -the bar area needs to be a step down to wrap table height - short people/older people have a hard time sitting on bar stools - also barn doors on the hall closets

I really like the layout on this one; but I can’t deal with no doors on the closets and I will never go back to board and batton inside ever again. It’s simply too flimsy and doesn’t dampen sound well and it just doesn’t look as finished.

I'd want to tear out the 'actual' pantry as well as the kitchen side wall of that bonus room to make a nook/table space. Don't like not having a kitchen table. Other than that I like it.

The stairs on the porch are not in the right place in case of rain. The porch step should be facing the gables so you don't get drenched when it rains.

The layout of this home is beautiful only thing cheaper windows in this home take away from the home I think that lighter cabinets would set this home off different color on outside of the home also maybe white and trim in black fully drywalls with nine feet ceilings with little windows above the big one Remove the wires racks for real wood rack. Now that fire place as is with that big Center kitchen Allen will sell this home . Way to much brown and beige together . But this home can be design to your liking cost more but look at this way you buy what you want if you can live there comfortable do you . But I say home should fit your spirit .

It was in text near the end of the video. $108k range. Not affordable, imo, once you factor in extra charges, cost of land, utilities, garage build, landscaping, etc. Few years back this would have been $58k. :(

Not enough drawers in the kitchen. The cabinets are lovely but those bottom ones need a drawer above each of the lower cabinets. That bonus room would make a great pantry, not only to store food, but those appliances that you only use on holidays or special occasions. In the first bathroom they needed to run the vanity completely to the wall. The gap between the vanity and the wall is a dust/dirt catcher and doesn't look like it is wide enough to accommodate, mops/Swiffer's/vacuums, etc. Why no doors on the bedroom closets? Good price for this home. But very puzzled about the closet doors, that is just weird. I think I would want the eating island lower down as I see a wheelchair in my future as my arthritis gets worse.
