Note: Mistress of Death (Escher Tactics) gives another activation later that turn. We gave her the activation back to back which is not correct. Thanks @kostekkostek8001

Rules mistakes happen, but when the whole game turns on one it's a bit brutal, and not in the fun way... I feel like the nomads should be compensated somehow. Since she shouldn't have been able to get the charge off on him to begin with, what I'd probably do as arbitrator is rule that Tocki (or was it Guru?) isn't quite so dead after all. In fact, he might have Learned some sort of Lesson from the experience...

Now that I've watched it - awesome. I'm not sure if you've had comments before on it, but one of the things I am most impressed about is your camera angles which really draws the viewer into full immersion. Every time I try and make a batrep for a game system I've always got my dining room in the background - I'd appreciate any pointers you've got for making the videos like you do. Really enjoyed the match. Thank you.

@@hairybob7402 Thanks and thanks! 🙂 I really appreciate the feedback. For the camera angels, I use an iPhone and zoom in with the 2x and 3x camera. It’s great for pictures but video requires you to be super still if zoomed. For videos I typically use the standard camera and I move it slowly. To the point where it feels awkward. Most of my shots are either just above the model or behind them. I wish I could get low to the table and film more upward shots but I have the same problem you do! 😂 Not sure if that helps but everything I do is with a phone and calm hands.

An incredibly narrow win for Escher. That stormcaster shot that caught the big group of Escher was almost a disaster. Great reminder why Death Maidens are probably the best close quarters unit in the game right now. There are tougher units that hit faster, but their speed and ability to ignore pinning with the agility tree is just such a key advantage.

Hi - fantastic channel and my main source of Necromunda entertainment. I'm pretty sure in the new rulebook it states that you ignore the fleshwound if you get an assisted recovery

I say it everytime, but yet again the table setup was superb! Nice to see death maidens make a mess of other peoples plans too, those guys are no joke in combat 😅 Any plans to introduce vehicles to the ash waste side of the campaign at any point? Thanks for the content, Jamie & Jackson

Pro-tip: you can perform coup de grace to a fighter within one nich dostanie i.e. You can perform cdg with versatile weapons provided that you are within 1 inch

Really? I dont say you re wrong but i always assume you needed to be in base contact to cdg, where is it written? Cause we had that situation many times and id like to see it clearly written so my playing buddies agree

@@0neKingD0wnpage 104 latest core book but it is under the CdG action in all of the recent rulebooks. You get a free consolidate move or CdG if not engaged after fight (basic). So stopping just outside B2B with versatile weapons is a great move.

Bait and switch tactics card doesnt allow you to switch places with another fighter, dunno where you get that from. Also mistress of death gives only ready marker, not another activation

Bait and Switch has a Nomad specific version. Like Blood Surge for Corpse Grinders. For the Mistress of Death, you're correct. We just got ahead of ourselves. He read that card, I said cool, we played. The turn should have went back to the Nomads prior though. I pinned a comment calling that out so everyone can see. Thanks for pointing that out!

10 fighters per side gave them a high breaking point. 5 fighters would need to be seriously injured or OOA and then a 6.

I would lean to the Hive War box. It comes with 2 gangs, but the rulebook has been slightly updated. Alternatively all you really need is the gang of your choice to get started. You can buy the rulebooks or use online resources that help consolidate all the rules. You can catch Ash Waste boxes super cheap on Amazon at times. The rulebook was updated though 🙂

Great video sad to see the Ash Waste Nomads loss. I just got some ash waste nomads, and im not sure how to paint them. One idea is to paint them in the colors of House Redoran from Morrowind. The other idea is to paint them like the Fallen from destiny. What do yall think would look better?

@@alias6149 I did a painting guide on these guys that uses Speed Paint primarily. Don’t let anyone tell you how to paint them. They are your minis and totally your choice. I went more “earthy” colors than vibrant colors but do what makes you happy 🙂
