The throne cutting you thing is a thing in the books. People started to talk about it because when a king started to cut himself on the throne, he wouldn't be king for long.

I was immediately sucked into the storylines. The acting was great and the action was just wonderful. I’m sold on this show just by this first episode.

I felt off about visery's at first because of how "unkingly" he felt to me, but then later on it's revealed at least from Daemon's eyes that Visery's is a weak king that is leeched upon which makes his character much more beleivable to me. So far obviously I love Daemon and I really am digging Rhaeneyra she feels very "organic"?

When Daemon rose up after being down from his battle with Sir Criston Cole, the baby was out in the womb. But unknowingly, Sir Criston Cole got up and took down Daemon to the ground. That should have been the sign that the baby was going to die.

I don’t think Viserys is weak I think he’s nice. He doesn’t like conflict but when the council was pushing him he stood up against them and when he found out what Daemon said he got rid of him.

Last year I went to a Game of Thrones concert in LA where Ramin Djawadi was conducting and playing the music and it was so beautiful and gave me chills and it was just a night to remember.

What a great first episode. I'm fresh off a re-read of Fire and Blood and seeing it come to life reignites my excitement for the world of Game of Thrones. I'm loving the addition of Aegon's dream that explains why he chose to conquer and unite the seven kingdoms. Even though I know how everything ends, I really appreciate the addition of things like that to further flesh out the story and the lore. This isn't the original show. The Starks were the one dimensional "good guys" in GoT. There are no "good guys" in this show. They all betray and backstab each other for various reasons. George writes grey characters for the most part, but none more so than this time period.

Too many times to count. I watch when i'm bored, when I'm trying to sleep, most of all it has helped me with severe depression. Game of Thrones helped me through a lot of bad days. It's like a good friend that i can turn to. I suffer with social anxiety bad. I also find it hard to trust people. I've been betrayed by friends and family. I know its not the best therapy but it works for me. I love the characters and the way everyone comes together when everything looks hopeless. Love and friendship wins every time. I guess you can say i wish I have people in my life that i could trust with my life. Let not forget Drogon, he's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

I've watched the series several times but have skipped an episode or two. I've been doing that since season 8 trying to see if I can get over season 8 and accept it... such a bummer. But I let it go. I had to because I love the series so much. *And every time I watch it, I pick up something new. I also love watching peoples first reaction to watching the show... particularly "It's Mr. Video." Greetings from Washington DC 👋🏽 I've watched GoT, seasons 1 - 7 probably 6 or 7 times. I've only watched season 8 once, and I will never watch it again. Despite that, GoT is still my favorite TV series of all time.

We loved every season of GOT. The show always gave us what we were not expecting until the end. And we are currently rewatching it with a Sweet Summer Child.

I have a feeling Otto is going to be a Tywin/Littlefinger type character. Also, the big domed building in kings landing is the dragon pit. The Hightowers are lords of Old Town/ The Citadel. They are smart people. That is why you always see Alicent awith a book. She is going to be a strong version of Sam.

Season 8 ended how it should have actually and I am a huge huge fan of the show, watched it at least 20 times over from beginning to end.

So it isn’t sexist because if they voted for a female to inherit the iron throne it would tear the realm apart because it would mess with the noble houses successions and histories. That being said, you could still have a female inherit if there weren’t any male heirs at all which is why Daenerys became queen. It is why Bloody. Ray, Elizabeth I, Victoria and Elizabeth II became queens under male primogeniture
