At least they mentionned him in a smooth way, having failed to control both Aegon and Aemond, Otto will try with Daeron, it's a very Otto thing to do.

Weirdly I agree with both points. Daemon always knew Otto was a snake. So many things could have been prevented if Viserys has listened to him earlier. however I agree with Rhaenyra that the way Daemon went about things of course Viserys wasn't going to trust him. If he had went about things differently he could have worked with Viserys. Viserys was absolutely not scared of Daemon. He just couldn't trust him wholly because of Daemon being such a wild card.
