To answer your question about the title sequence: You are right, it's not a map. It shows you then bloodlines of House Targaryen. For example, there is a sigil for Viserys, connecting to Aemma, hers looking different because she died in episode 1. And then from both of them the blood trails down to Rhaenyra. Same for Viserys and Alicent to Aegon, etc. It basically shows you the family relations.

Daemon is according to the books the greatest badass of this universe. Thats why he is the favorite character of george and many other fans even from before the show came out.

This first season is a lead up to the other 2/3 they seem to have thought, which will cover the so-called Dance of Dragons, the dinastyc civil war. The older actors were chosen first, then they look for their younger counterparts. The older actors don't make their appearances until the 6th episode, and they killed their performances too.😊

While the battle itself isn't battle of the bastasrds level i get why she had that reaction, that one moment with daemon and the fact he says nothing the whole episode except for "come out drahar" at the start and he just goes in on a suicide charge because he would rather die than have his brother (mb he had the plan laenor on the war table at the back of his mind too cause you can see him look down at it after he reads the letter ) who he is literally trying to set himself apart from to be his own person for once and prove himself come in out of nowhere to save the day when he hasn't helped in 3 whole years and the whole sequence is less about the fighting, its a huge character defining moment for daemon where you can see almost all the sides to his character in about 5-10 min.

Viserys has been told again he has traitors in his kingdom yet this pos is having parties and hunting up until this point he is the worst Targaryen king he cares not for his people. Daemon got pissed cuz his brother has allowed traitors in their kingdom have robbing, assaulting people and taking away their shipping lanes. House Velaryon would be affected the most and there’s no telling how ships that are an apart of the kings landing they would lose.
