Wow. I cannot believe how well the production team managed to re-create HOTD vibes here!!! Everything is on point - the set design, the costumes / hair (well .. .wigs!) / makeup, lighting/grading. That must have been tricky to pull off.

This just made me miss his show even more and Charlie. I remember being in HS and we would all talk about the new show that week during math class. I think I was a Sophomore if I remember right. Man that seems like yesterday but when you realize really how long ago it makes you even more sad lol. Back in the day when PS2, Xbox, and GameCube were king, I had just started PC gaming, MTV was the shit(cribs, pimp my ride, real world, viva la bam, etc.), Howard Stern Show, Extended play (xplay), and you would stay up late to catch the Girls Gone Wild promos. Life was so much simpler back then and not just because I was in HS, but people weren't upset over everything and you didn't have all these social media hell holes that gave everyone a voice that didn't need one.

Yup, those days were a lot of fun. That had to be around 2002, 2003 or 2004. Social media has done a lot of good, but also a shit load of bad. I prefer the days before social media. People were a lot different. I think it's caused more isolation. Kinda ironic, the tools that were made to connect people, have sorta done the opposite.

first of all, SNL set design team killed this. the lighting, mood, costumes, all that shxt was AMAZING. with that outa the way, i can't express well enough how exciting and nostalgic it was to see all of dave's most popular characters show up lol the only thing they were missing was prince even though he only had like one quick apparence lol still they went crazy on his outfit for that charlie murphy episode (rip to the goat)
