I find it really unbelievable that someone will spend more on the gown than the diamond ring they are going to wear for 50 years....

She actually spent (wait, not spent, wasted) just shy of $9500.00 for both those dresses once everything was totaled. The total for just these equals MORE than half of the amount they over budget on. Without these 2 outrageously priced dresses they could have brought their debt from approx $13,000 down to $3,500.

It wasn't even a nice dress. The one she tried on before that was half the price was way nicer.

Those men hold each other's lives in their hands. How could you not invite them. This is a poser, not a lady.

I have watched many of this episodes and all I can think of is, how did this people even got married. I would love to see in a couple of years what had happened to their marriages.

IMO buying a Tuxedo is MUCH easier to wear again and again than a dress that goes in and out of fashion....H&M, Zara and other places do tuxes fairly inexpensively. Also, quite easy to lend one to friends of similar build (suit pants can be worn). But just as an eg my Pa's Tuxedo has been worn not only by him but his sons, his niece's husband, friends etc - and that's for over 30 yrs - savings on rentals HUGE! Anyway, happy savings!

A tux is easy to buy or rent and you can use it again. Whereas women get criticised for wearing the same dress twice. You can get away with a suit for those.kinds of events too
