You're treated like a regular witch or wizard, who don't change houses, rarely replace their wand, and patronus only changes under extreme circumstances. Oh, and most wands fall within 9-14", so short doesn't mean anything unless it's abnormally shorter, which means less than 8".

Also fun fact, if you get a heads or tails black or white thing at the end, its because you were straddling 2 houses and it needed to make a choice.

I am always a Gryffindor, and I have fairly severe social anxiety. I always figured it was less how you are that gets you sorted, but more what you value. I have no bravery, so I always see the value in being brave, and I am sorted accordingly.

They won't make a new movie with the previous actors, but they are working on a tv series for HBO Max where they can follow closer to the books, J.K. Rowling is a executive producer to the show so she is sure they really stick to the original story. It's set for 2026 now.

Read the wand length blurb a bit more carefully. Anything between 9 and 14 inches is normal. It's only *abnormally* short wands where the person's character has something lacking. And 11 3/4 is actually slightly above the middle of the normal range. 11 1/2 would be exactly in the middle.

I thought I'll be a ravenclaw because I'm a book worm and can solve riddles very easily but I came out to be Slytherin. It helped me understand that my ambition was even higher than all those things. That's the reason I am a bookworm in the first place. My husband, my sister everyone is also Slytherin. If this was real, I could never live in Slytherin dungeons. Just because of the location of common room and dorms I might have chosen Ravenclaw. I NEED sun. My patronus is a cat. I knew if beforehand because I just have weird obsession with cats. A friend of mine got Slytherin and is very proud of it. I got Gryffindor and proud of that, too. She said that every Gryffindor needs a Slytherin. In relation to your question about wouldn’t a Slytherin tell on someone else cheating on a test? No absolutely not. It states that the student is from the same house and Slytherin don’t snitch on fellow Slytherins. Another house, yes probably but not on our own house.
