Hello! Thanks for making this video. I have a question: I thought 전화기 meant the old type of phone, and 핸드폰 is the modern one. Can we use 전화기 for modern and old phones? 2:24
@rachelhankoreanteacher1628
@rachelhankoreanteacher1628 3 жыл бұрын
네! 전화기는 두 경우 다 사용가능해요. 포괄적인 단어거든요. 핸드폰 어디있지?=전화기 어디있지? 이렇게 같이쓸 수 있어요. ^^ Yes! The phone is available in both cases. It's a comprehensive word. Where's my cell phone?=Where's the phone? You can use it together like this. ^^

I’m so confused because why is 식 added in front of the word 갈. What would be the meaning of the word 식? And I’m confused because if 부엌 means kitchen shouldn’t it be 부엌 칼 to mean kitchen knife??? And the same thing occurs with the word kitchen hood in Korean

It would be really helpful for beginners if English spell Korean sound is written
@jollyjellybelly
@jollyjellybelly 10 ай бұрын
You can find that in other videos. I actually really like learning directly in the written Korean alphabet. It helps me learn to read Hangeul and associate the sounds w it, rather than trying to Romanize the alphabet and then not learning the sounds through the Hangeul and then having to think in Romanized letters. As, eventually this is what is supposed to be ingrained in you anyways. You are learning this as if you were a child in a Korean household/in Korea, so you're completely immersed. Did you learn English or whatever primary language by going through another channel?!? No. You learn it directly. That is the best way to learn. Directly.
