Hey guys! So, I recently moved, but before I did, I wanted to share my house tour with you guys. It's far from perfect, changed a ton, and always seemed to come second to my decor projects for other. I'm a bit self conscious and see so much that needs to be added &/or edited. So, here it is, my moment in time of Casa Me.
Hope you like! I have a bunch of new videos of my new space too! And LOTS of projects. Next time, I'll be much more transparent in sharing the process & struggles -- maybe it will be helpful! :)

I appreciate a home that is a mishmash of acquired pieces over time. I think it's so easy to adapt the mindset that you have to have everything right now. However, I think you can often lose out on finding your evolving style and it can end up quite generic and lifeless. And in that rush you can miss out on creating a warm home that is really a true reflection of you! So I say, well done, Mary! Your home is eclectic and full of life, character, fun and a whole lot of whimsy and charm. I would consider that a wonderful compliment to you and your reflection. And... I have a strong suspicion that it will continue to change... right along with you! Enjoy the ride!

This is so YOU! As an interior decorator, your home should reflect your personality and tell a story about who lives in it. I get so bored with all the decor videos on here with the same style and same pieces. Spaces without personality are boring. You nailed it, girly. Good job, love your videos ☺️☺️

I love that everything about your home screams YOU. It's perfect. It's cozy. It's unique. I love. My best friend broke my bed frame while playing Mario Party but there's something so therapeutic about sleeping on the floor.

I love your positivity, just like everyone commenting here; your style is so unique and beautiful, and you are obviously an intelligent person, so it's fun to listen to you. I also very much appreciate the not-so-perfect vibe of it all: you are not taking it all too seriously, you are having fun and enjoying the beautfy of the moment, and your home looks like a real home where the sky doesn't fall if the dog makes a mess or a glass breaks. You truly are an inspiration, and you always lift my mood.

I love this for so many reasons. One is because it's real. We can't all afford Z gallery which seems to be the youtuber trend lol Another is because it's different than that same old glam look with all the white and gold. I commented on another youtubers channel that her office was beautiful but I was tired of seeing the same office tour over and over. Needless to say she was offended lol and said she didn't think it was the same as everyone else. Anywho this is beautiful and I'm so glad you shared it because it gave me a lot of inspiration and also some encouragement to really "make things work" and embrace my own style.

Obsessed with your style! Love your combination of modern and vintage and how imperfect and personal you keep it. I always feel youtubers are saying very similar things on how to organize a space like "don't have too much clutter, keep things off the counter"... Which are true to an extent. I love that you throw that out the window and keep it personal and say do what works for you and you keep sentimental things around!

I love your apartment because it is such a reflection of you. I enjoy seeing how spaces reflect the personalities of the people that live there. When someone tries to mimic what is popular you can feel the disconnect between owner and home. You connect beautifully with your home. It feels so homey and welcoming. In fact, it reminds me of my grandmother's homes. I loved visiting them and looking at all the details because they were a window into her world. Thank you so much for bravely being vulnerable and opening up your home to us! Love you ;)

Such a wonderful place to live AND near the beach too! This apartment was a fantastic find. I love and respect that all of your pieces have a story. Yeah sure if you're a billionaire you can just get an expensive piece of designer furniture and have it but that's boring. You thrifted, hacked, treasure hunted and basically FOUND all of your pieces. They each have a personal story beyond you just simply paying for it. You have a great eye for design. no need to be nervous, mary! whether you're a homeowner or a renter, i think all spaces are a work in progress because people are always changing. there's nothing wrong with having a home that is representative of that change and that has such lovely evidence of being lived in! be confident in your space and make no apologies!

I love how creative you are! I've used your designs as inspiration for my bedroom! Especially since I have no room for a proper desk, I've changed it up to try to use a coffee table for a desk and cushions for the chair. I hope it works for me. And your hallway! Oh my gosh! I actually felt nostalgic seeing those metal and cane chairs with your breakfast table. I'm 59 yrs old, but when I was a little girl, there were those exact chairs in my grandparents home and I loved to sit on them and admire their shape.

I think thinks can't be perfect! a lot of KZfaq's create this idea but I know its just an idea. and you should too :) you are not worse than anybody and I and I don't expect crazy perfection from you. I love black rooms, and creative walls. Don't apologize for your style, just let it evolve as you evolve and it will only get richer. My mattress is on the ground too , and I love it. And channel 19 is one of my fav perfumes.
