Absolutely gorgeous, Suzie. We built our home in The Florida Keys 15 years ago. We have a large, to the width of the house, back porch facing a canal. It has not been used however, recently, we decided to furnish it and use it. Your video could not have been done at a more opportune time. We intend to follow the villa design. What a lovely feast for the eyes! Everything was so carefully designed and decorated beautifully. So interesting to see how natural textiles were used. The food looked wonderful too- wow. I loved how the pool was the center focal point outside the rooms. I don’t think I would want to leave either. I would love to see more of your adventures! ❤

Thanks Karen, So happy sharing this beautiful stay. Many stays are functional and tick the basic boxes but this place truly over delivered on so many fronts. The mix of Ralph Lauren and Stuart Membery textiles were gorgeous and the mix of so much Indigo and Green together, which isn't usual. I look forward to sharing some other inspiring stays. @@ginafriend1690 It is like heaven on earth....there is complete madness in the busyness of scooters and trade, but the people are the sweetest, the food is fabulous and the options for accomodation of all levels is endless. Definately worth exploring. I've been 8 times...usually staying in Ubud but this was my first time staying at Pineapple Hill and then followed by a week in Sanur...very peaceful stay. Any holidays planned for you this year? S x

Here too, in the northeastern part of India, bamboo and cane are an indigenous forest product. I see bamboo and its diverse uses as the way to a sustainable future. Thank you, and yes isn't he talented?! Most of the villa is filled with furniture, fabrics & decorative objects from his own collection. It inspired me to want to decorate with more colour, as I loved the blues and greens. We will definitely look at creating more videos of accommodation from our travels xx Have a great week!

Absolutely beautiful and perfect . Maybe the Delft blue VOC plates on 6:14 are questionable because of the dark history of the VOC and it`s exploitation in that area.

@@suzieandersonhome You don`t get the point. Respecting the lands history and hanging VOC victorious like plates on the wall is more like you respect the history of the VOC for exploiting the Indonesian people. It`s not my opinion, it`s a fact they did terrible things over there.
