I work from home and use this method. It also teaches good house manners like not running all over the place and being able to 100% prevent unwanted chewing on furniture, cords, walls etc. We have a 12 week old puppy that hasn't had an accident since she was 9 weeks old!

2-3 minutes after a puppy drinks water it has to pee. Why? Small bladder. 10-15 minutes after a puppy eats the puppy has to eliminate, waste. Why ? Stomach is full. Take the puppy out 2-3 minutes after a puppy drinks water and eats Take the puppy outside. Stay outside until the puppy do both. DO NOT COME BACK IN UNTIL THE PUPPY DO BOTH. It's not a game, in and out, in and out is a game for the puppy. Stay out there until the puppy finish it's business. You will need to invest about 20 minutes total time. DO NOT PLAY, TALK, PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THE PUPPY. The puppy will eliminate, I guarantee it. Praise the puppy bringing the puppy in the house immediately with praise and play. It works everytime. Another secret. Feed the puppy every time same time. If you feed the puppy same time everyday it will eliminate the same time everyday. It's body will become a clock for eliminating. Trust me it works.

Let me summarize for you people. He just takes puppy EVERYWHERE with him. Thats it. 24/7. No matter what he does. Simple. No abuse wtf. If you work from home thats how you spend days with pup anyway. I think this is much better than locking ur dog alone in cage.

Finally! I’ve had my puppy home for 5 weeks now. I finally found this video about how she can sleep in the bed and let me know. When I first came home with her she was so small she was in a doggie bed near my head. She woke me up to go potty by licking me. Then all I could find were American crate train videos t the make them be alone methods. I work from home. I also take her in the car with me too. Nighttime sleeping has gotten rough bc she wakes up multiple times in the crate in order to be with someone. Even in the 5 weeks we have had her she is more and more confident and ok exploring by herself. My vet was pressuring me to make her cry it out for 30 minutes alone so she could “learn” to be alone. She is independent just fine and she is secure and knows she’s loved. American culture pressures you to train your puppies and human babies to cry it out so you can be independent and alone.

If you got carpet make sure to clean it really well with a good pet stain remover if they have an accident or they will keep doing it in that spot.

Just got an 8w old puppy, after one week of bonding my second week of leave is now spent on training him to be alone. Tried a crate and playpen, got super super hysterical! I set the living so that he can roam there freely and worked immediately, he was 4h alone, then I ”came” back from work during my ”lunch” break, then I left him for another 4h alone whereafter I ”came” back from work. He's been behaving big time (yes, I use a monitor as well as sneaking on him to check him).

Thank You Augusto , This is similar to me . I put our puppy in a tiny cuddle box with my hand on the floor . If she moved or whimpered my hand was there to quiet , comfort and redirect her . It went this way with every puppy , every breed . I guess that's why I always wanted a puppy when I had small children . Your baby is beautiful !

Great video. I've never seen a puppy trained this way before but it makes sense. However...there was way too much blather about cage training in the beginning. My dog give NO signs when he pees. He pees while he’s running, playing, chasing a ball etc w/o stopping! Just sprinkles along the way😢Or he’ll just be standing and a puddle starts forming underneath. He give NO warning

we have a 9 month old house broken crate trained shepherd girl. How can I stop her from Barking like crazy in her crate when we get home. I have tried to turn my back at crate and not get her out until she stops but it doesn't work. And she will bark at our other 3 dogs for no reason. All of ours are inside dogs. (I am Lacey's Mom)

Patience is key an do not take them of leash. I do not advise 😒 to not ever use a kennel or a crate. A dog needs a safe place a "den" there is no way you are taking that big dog everywhere you go.

I have a very big problem and need a reply....my problem is after i see my puppy has went potty I bring him in and as soon as he gets in he squats and pees inside, and this is right after I watched him take a big piss outside...he does this every darn time....why is he doing this? I'll even take him out after 2 minutes of being inside just to be sure he's done and he'll pee but as soon as he comes inside sure enough he pisses again...sometimes it's as little tinkle and other times its like he hasn't peed in days....he won't poop in the house so that's good but we have expensive floors and can't have pee on them...help! why is he doing this and what can I do to fix it? ps he's just 8 weeks so not sure if that's an issue
