4/16/1988 this was sung at my wedding. 5/30/1991, my daughter was born. 4/16/1995 my son was born. 2.5 months later,7/1/1995, my husband passed away suddenly. This song means so much to me.

Unfortunately my father in law passed away before I got to meet him. He is still one of the men I look up to. I tell my wife all the time that if I can turn out to be even a tenth of the godly man he was I’ll have done very well. On our wedding day a close friend found a recording of him singing this song. It was a complete surprise to everyone. I am so thankful that he was able to be part of our day and I’ll cherish this song forever because of it
