the grab bag is really useful in the UK. We have scanners that scans your shopping as you shop, so you don't have to take them back out until you get home anyway

The Grab bag would be useful in the UK, where some stores have a “Scan & Go” system where you use a little device to scan your groceries as you go, and then pay at the end at a self service type machine without having to take your groceries out at the end

You know it would been super easier just don't use that grab bag while shopping. once you reach the cashier you unload the stuff your buying than use the grab bags instead of using them throughout your entire time of shopping. there really small so they would easy fit in a small place like your purse or unless you have big pockets on your pants :)

As someone who works in a grocery store and is often stuck bagging, those grab bag things are so much easier to bag into. The ones I've seen, at least, hold more than a regular cloth shopping bag. But our store sells hard sided collapsible bags and those seem to be the favorite. (Strong and easy to bag into and they sit so nicely together.)

W/the grab bag, you would just keep them folded up & handy while shopping...then, after you've emptied the cart for check out, you open the bags, hang them in the cart & fill them. We use cloth bags all the time...I can see a big advantage having a bag stay open while I'm filling it. Men's arms look nice & masculine w/ hair, btw.

I have worked in a groercy store and that first product is my favorite thing to see come down the line. It is so much easier to bag them and it is so much less of a hassle Edit: I worked as a bagger for about a year and those were my favorite things because it's a simple put everything in there and bag the meats and cold stuff however you wanted.

My mom purchased the Spicy Shelf from Walmart for her...well spice shelf. She had nothing but negative things to say about it. She says everything falls off of it and it was extremely cheaply made

I would say that the grab bag is a good buy if you don’t have any reusable bags and can find them at a discount, I got 3 boxes of them for $1 each so I’d say it’s a win

I'll go ahead and point out the obvious. You wouldn't put your groceries into the bags until they had been scanned by the checker. Load everything onto the conveyor and set up your bags while you're waiting in line.

I found that with flimsy shoes( aka women’s fashion shoes), especially if not every compartment was used, the shoe storer was very floppy, and didn’t slide neatly under beds or wherever

3:00 Why do we use shopping carts anyway? You just have to take stuff out of it anyway at checkout. Thats why the bag hooks to the cart. You put stuff in the bag instead of the cart as though it were the cart. It creates no more trouble.

A way to recreate the grab bag for cheap diy just get a cheap reusable bag and put some Velcro that can keep ur bag close and u could probably get some cheap hooks and attach it so u can clip it to the sides of the shopping carts

I agree that the shopping bags are really a waste of money but how are they extra work? Use them or not you still have to take your groceries out of your cart to be scanned. I could not focus on the rest of this video trying to figure out how it was extra work. Does Publix have a checkout that you aren't required to put your groceries on the checkout lane? Lasers and magic scanning carts whole? I have confusion.

Cabbage Patch Kids were these popular and sickeningly cute dolls, and the Garbage Pail Kids cards were a backlash that had illustrations of dolls that looked like the Cabbage Patch Kids but in grotesque situations. @2:58. This works great for those stores where you scan your purchase as you place them in the cart. We have several stores like that. You use your cellphone, or check out a scanner when you walk into the store. As you pick up something to put in your cart, you scan it and it adds it to your purchase. Then when you get to the register, you just scan a check-out code, pay and walk away. Only have to touch your stuff once. Great convenience!
