Exactly!!! Jokic was so drained. As we're most of the starters. Could've gave them a break to start the 3rd, and brought them back to finish strong at the end of the third. Crazy a** game plan. Either way nuggets fought their a$$3$ off and went out swinging. Proud this team represents my hometown.

The game plan on offense was terrible, isolating Jokic on one side with AG in the dunker role left 2 bigs in the paint making it hard for them to drive the lane. It made no sense and forced them to have to make 3s, which they couldn't do.

Den thought they had it in the bag in the 3rd when Murray popped that 3pt to give them a 20pt lead. They took the foot off the gas and started settling for 3pt shots while Minnesota kept grinding till Den got gassed and by the 4th quarter at the 8 min mark. Den gave Minnesota the bonus and that was a wrap.

You lose a 20 point lead or 18 point lead at home in a game 7, you are NOT good enough; games 1-2 were easy for Minnesota and then in game 6 you couldn't close and in game 7 you could not close -- YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH! You need about 2 or 3 guys who can produce for you with more depth off the bench to sustain yourself. So the better team won and Denver was good enough to win but they didn't match up well with Minnesota all year long and it showed.

One thing I have enjoyed is the no-bull from Malone and Jokic. They call it like they see it. They are honest. And I think their analysis is pretty spot-on. They missed open shots and there was a lethargy or lack of stamina from the team. I think they needed another bench player -- and another big. They threw three -- THREE!! -- awesome big guys at Jokic.

The problem is while other teams got better, they got worse. And the litmus test is that the lakers won a game last round whereas they got swept last year. I said losing bruce brown and Jeff green would cost them. Aaron Gordon never developed a consistent defender to keep teams honest and mpj defense remained subpar to the point that Braun was finishing 4th quarters. They were never gonna repeat this year
