I just had de ja vu. A few years ago I was free diving with some buddies. Our leader took us to a swim through, we couldn’t see the exit but he assured us it was just a few metres ahead. I dived and swam through but no light and no air above my head. I lifted my head and thank God found my self in a little air pocket. I struggled to control my rising panic and readied myself in case a surge of water put me under the water. I heard my friends and shouted to them. Our leader got me out, I just went to one side to be alone and gave myself the biggest bollicking possible. Here I was a diving instructor diving without a torch, a guideline or a clear exit, how could I have been so stupid. I looked over and our leader was whiter than me. Lesson learnt life is precious, don’t throw it away.

Cold shock occurs at the moment of submersion and an immediate increase in heart rate, but as you stay under the water - the mammalian dive reflex takes preeminence and your heart rate slows to conserve oxygen and direct blood to the heart and brain. Just look it up or try it yourself before correcting on things you clearly don’t know much about.

Я как-то нырнула на мелководье с плеч, при этом просила товарища уйти на глубину,я предпологала исход. В итоге ударилась об дно, чуть не сломала шею. Никогда не забуду как искала выход из воды. Вода была мутной, непонятно где дно. Гребла под водой, открыла глаза и увидела слабый свет, ногами искала дно чтобы оттолкнуться и нашла! Когда вынырнула, меня выкручивало и я не могла вздохнуть. Думала не выживу, но все обошлось. Позвоночник долго болел. В 37 лет сделали операцию. Берегите себя.

Рискуем для себя. Это мотивирует. В этом ролике у плывущего есть страхователи. Я такое приемлю. Мне это нравится. А вот альпинистов я не понимаю. Они гибнут, никто их не страхует. Я альпинистов не понимаю... В любом виде любительского спорта должна быть страховка, чтобы люди не гибли. Глупая смерть. Альпинизм, парашут, бокс, мото-мото гонки, паркур и другие агрессивные виды спорта надо запретить

Сердце чуть не остановилось... вспомнила историю своего отца как ушел под лед ( в детстве с пацанами бегали по льду и он провалился). Один из мальчишек бежал по льду показывая спасение. Это чудо что остался тогда жив, смог выплыть благодаря другу. .

I held my breath the whole time he was under water and when he couldn't find his out hole I thought my chest was going to explode. Imagine his lungs tiring..his heart pounding his mind trying to betray his knowledge of what he should do and adding to it is the hypothermia inducing water temperature...what makes men do things like this...I would think because at the end..he beat his fear used his instinct and training to conquer what only a handful on this planet can so now he can say I can, I did and I will do it again..... thats beast madness... and another thing...his calmness in the midst of what could have been a death moment was surreal...while the people above were freaking out for his life...he stopped gathered his senses and got his butt out of there. I want someone like him on my side

Why? They had the safety line in case he got lost. He stayed calm when he got lost. And he got back to the surface without incident…. Just because you’re risk averse doesn’t mean everyone who takes a risk that doesn’t work out (and has a plan B ready in case the risk doesn’t work out) is stupid. If that didnt explain anything: This is an interesting video. Let's get onto it. In the video a man almost drowns, and the camera man is standing and witnessing the things happen. A man gets saved at the end. Onto the characters:I got huge respect for the man for staying as alive as steel. Respect. В данном случае это розыгрыш. Обратите внимание что пловец не доплыл до проруби в которой стоял человек метра два и как будто он не видел его, при такой сильной прозрачности воды

@@aest.corner3923 что там было тяжелого то, он всё прекрасно видел, в очках, лёд прозрачный, на улице светло.......я плавал в воде погрязнее с открытыми глазами и всё прекрасно видно и понимаешь где дно, где верх....тут очевидно что они создали какие то странные условия, они ему показывали где выход, он подплыл и развернулся буквально в 1 метре, он 100% видел всё
