They are not spending any money on maintance and repair. This could have been avoided. How old are your wires, poles, and transformers??? Tree trimming is especially important. This is just another inexcusable rip-off which happens all of the time in California. Now our states are being saturated by the millions which disrupts our quality of life...

As terrible as this has been, I can't help but think this was a Cat 1, we CAN get much stronger storms what then? Is the entire area just out for weeks or even months? What has Center Point done to "harden" the system so that the Houston area has some ability to weather these storms.

@@dustinrind2338 they suppose to drive around looking for downed lines to report. They are sitting in parking lots doing nothing. Do you think the call center is going to look for downed lines ? Or wait for people to report outages. this is an emergency to restore power service that’s is their job.
