My bagel shop had all of its windows blown out, I won't be able to open for weeks. I pray my family will be able to make it through this tough time

I know this area very well, grew up there & have multiple friends who work literally 2 buildings down on the same street... or at least they did, looking like multiple business (if not all) on that street could be shuttered for good. I wonder not only what happens to those small businesses, but also (& likely more urgently) the many employees of those companies who could be suddenly out of work. Not to mention the homes & homeowners. The scope & range of damage is absolutely astonishing, I can’t recall anything like it in terms of how much significant damage was inflicted, but more so in how far from the blast origin the damage extends. Perhaps the proximity has something to do with it, as that entire street is warehouse after warehouse, all small machine shops & similar businesses, most (if not all) of the corrugated steel construction, but to see the damage extend into the surrounding neighborhoods is astonishing, as we are talking 1/2-1 mile of a legitimate blast radius, where I would have thought that no damage (save for maybe blown out windows) would have extended... & yet there are leveled houses and other significant ruins quite far away. Seems stronger than even what a conventional (non-nuclear) Millitary missile would inflict... crazy
