On a nice cool October afternoon I stopped by Houston Fire Department Station 7 after visiting Galveston Island earlier. Within 15 minutes the midtown station got a full house, with each apparatus on a separate call that came in within the same minute.
Equipment/Call List
Engine 7 - 2018 Spartan MetroStar [Check for a Smoke Detector]
Ladder 7 - 2017 Spartan Gladiator [Motor Vehicle Incident]
Ambulance 7 - 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 (Frazier Built) [Unknown Problem]
Thanks For Watching!

Crazy how they all got different runs at once. Makes me wonder how they even make it back to quarters without getting a new one. Also nice McLaren 😂

Brennen McEwen erm... did you watch the video mate? Engine 7 ran an alarm, Ladder 7 ran an accident, and Ambulance 7 ran a medical. Also says in his description they are all different. And it’s also obvious by the fact that the ladder went 3 blocks in the opposite direction.

Brennen McEwen actually for once they separated. Normally for 7 they go full house frequently to structures and MVIs but this time they all were on separate calls as I was monitoring the radio channels

7’s is one of the best in downtown along with 8. They handle lots of calls. It’s very common at 7 to see a full house to a MVI on the major 59/69, 45, 288 interchange

Is this over by 59 near the TSU campus? I lived in Houston for 15 years. I go back occasionally but haven't been down that way. If this is where I think it is, it's a LOT nicer than it was when I lived in Houston.

Wow, 3 different units dispatched at same time to 3 different calls. But I guess that may be normal in a big city.

Yep, Houston can be that way. Typically that station along with 8 are the busiest for the downtown area. 7 though mostly handles midtown. However Ladder 7 generally goes to downtown as it’s main ladder company

People that do that will have their day of karma, when their expensive ass house catches fire, and all the apparatus from across the street are on different runs
@southplainsfireresponses4222
@southplainsfireresponses4222 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah midtown has really gotten more expensive and well developed. It used to be pretty sketchy at times but it’s gotten a lot safer than it used to be. However 7s had responded to a fatal shooting near Travis street I believe last week. But yes even the woodlands central fire station I believe has had complaints about sirens at night
