It feels so good to watch this! It reminds me how fun the 2P grinding period was! This is a perfect summary of the entire SMO 2P Any% history and I'm honored to be part of it. It feels so good to figure out that you guys managed to show to everyone that 2P is the fastest (and the best) category of the game once again. Thank you for having pushing your PB that low! sadly it likely wont, because the top speedrunning category in sm64 (16 stars) is only 15 mins and that catches more people than smo which is 1 hour

This is a very cool video. If there is one thing i don't like, it was the short section where words were popping on screen one at a time (I'm probably just nitpicking with this take, it's not really too bad). Other than that one thing, I'd say that this video was a really good video with no obvious problems. Also, congrats to both of you on your achievement! One last thing, I may want to start actually speedrunning soon because of this video. Probably gonna be single player runs though, but who knows.

I feel like there is one big mistake on this video. Basically anybody that was a little bit in the Mario Odyssey community knew that 2P player was the fastest category, thanks to faster movement and multasking. But, 2P being extremely hard to run compared to 1P, there really was a period, in fact multiple, where the category wasen't getting pushed. So that's why I respect the effort a lot, and well done for achieving the fastest run of Any%, even if you had to 2v1 an other runner to get the tittle.

Yeah, I kinda disagree tho. Sure 2p is “easier”, but it’s still incredibly difficult to play at a high level as coordinating two separate peoples inputs is very hard. Also, you can’t always tell by watching runs, but playing Mario especially in 2 player is actually much harder than 1 player, as for the most part you can’t “buffer” inputs which genuinely makes the game far more difficult. You’re right that 2p is faster tho and technically “easier” to achieve a better time if you can communicate well and find time to grind with another person!
