Hello everyone,
We are back with another documentary for an amazing chassis. This time we catch up with three amazing builders who all chose the Civic EG as their weapon of choice!!
First stop we caught up with Rudy once again. This time Rudy shares his passion on how he got into cars and how the EG became the car of his dream. Thank you Rudy for making time for us one more time. Here are the links to his previous interviews
Red Diva
• How to Build a SLEEPER...
Blue Beast
• 1993 Honda Civic DX 70...
Second, we reconnect with our good freind Mike G. Mike was featured a while back on his amazing Civic "TANK" A few months later and the car looks completely different. Thank you Mike for helping us out to find the third EG owner to interview and with other interviews. I appreciate it very much.
Mike Interview
• 1992 Honda Civic CX: T...
• 1992 Honda Civic CX: T...
The third amazing builder is an OG in the drag world. JERRYBUILT is a brand that is well known in the drag competition do to his amazing engine building, front ends he sells, and other services he has provided over the years. If you guys are in the LA are he is the guy to go for high HP motor builds. If you are in other parts of the country and are interesting in a front end please feel free to connect with him via his IG

“I was really into cars and really excited when the gsxr came out but we didn’t have the money for all that… I WAS JUST GRATEFUL to have a car” (1986 dodge Colt). That’s just a beautiful thing to say coming from a young man. So good.

I’ve had all kinds of fun fast cars. Everything from h/c/I camaros, s8’s, c5’s, and swapped EG’s and the eg is still one of my top two favorites! It’s just plain out fun: and when people who have never been in a car like this feel it or drive it, their reaction is priceless!

Super street magazine had performance parts shops advertising everything they had back then late 90s. All you heard was tuned cars all day and night ripping around my neighbourhood. I bought a 89 prelude si when I was 18. I bought a muffler for it before I even purchased the car. It wasn’t super fast but it was fun. Good times.

We used to have that 92 Honda Hatchback EG back in the 1998 bought it P220k . And after 4 years was Bargain Sold for only P120k. Now in the Philippines the price doesnt drop . I miss to have again the Hatchback EG.

The EG Hatch is my #1 pic for 90's Honda icon. I've been into cars into my whole life, in the 90's I was all about domestic muscle cars. Then I got my 1st Honda, a 93 Vx hatchback with the 1.5 VTEC-E and I never looked back. I've owned DA's, EF hatches and I've had a b17 swapped CRX for 10 years. Still love the EG hatch and want to find another one. Keep em on the road!!!

EG’s timeless design reminiscent of the 911 is what drew me to love it. Bought my si new in 93 from Pflueger Honda the first Honda dealer in the Nation, that day drove it across the street for full GAB coil over suspension, front & rear upper strut bars, wheels, exhaust & intake. Swapped a B18gsr in 95 from the IAA, it now has a K20a from HMO. I love my EG! I too will be buried in it when I die...

Yup...I had a 1985 Mitubishi Starion turbo in the 90s. No one made tuner parts for it as far as I knew (no internet back then lol) so I cut the springs and loved it!!! It didn't handle better but dayum it looked good for a noob long before fast and furious was a thing.
