How heart breaking but I will say INSIDE Edition, it was very insensitive for you to repeatedly use the word "orphan." I felt like we got the point the first time.

You shouldn't have called them orphans you could use the word children instead

Using the word orphans is making this more sadder.

Happy the grandparents were able to keep them all together.! Stay strong children! Grow into the young men and women your parents wanted and become the parents they were!

This is so sad. I’m glad that they were able to go live with their grandparents and not put in foster care.

No one deserves this to happen to them. I am thankful for all of the people that helped these children. And thank you to the grandparents who took them in.

I personally knew this sweet family. I was heartbroken after recieving the news about the parents. I was actually told a car hit them head on before they flew off the road. But who knows. The car had started to fill with water and one of the older kids was able to pull the youngest out of the car. Such a horrible thing to go through. We still continue to pray for them.

Fate can both be cruel and merciful. Fate took away their parents but saved all of the siblings so they had each other. My heart goes out to the family and friends.

I don't understand why the pickup truck tried to pass them when they could clearly see the vehicle lost control. If the pickup driver would have slowed down no one would have died.

This is such a bittersweet thing. It's so sad that their family went through that, but it's such an amazing thing for those firefighters and police officers to do.

It’s crazy to know this could happen to anybody. You never know when your last moment with your parents or siblings, or friends will be.

I was really good church friends with one of the boys in the accident. Can confirm the family is ok and happy with their current life.

Sad to hear they lost their parents at a young age, but I'm glad all 6 siblings survived and that they have eachother and hopefully they will support eachother and grow strong through what ever hardships they will meet in the future.

Please people, don't tow one of those things! It is extremely dangerous. They will sway and treat your car like an F-5 tornado hit it unless it is packed in a certain way and even then the load can shift. A young woman from CA rented one for household stuff to go to school in Colorado and she is now a brain damaged vegetable cared for by her parents and nurses. The family got a settlement because the rental place didn't teach her how to load it but all the money goes for her 24-hour care.
