In 1973 when the episode of Schoolhouse Rocks aired we didn't have all the problems we ave today. For example back then the members of one party didn't just vote against a bill because it was authored by the other side just to prove the other side of the aisle isn't accomplishing taking care of the American People. Because, most of the politicians were willing to work together in a Bipartisan (Compromise to get things done, not stall or hold up needed improvements as a political stunt)way for the good of the Country, and her people. Also, Special Interests,Lobbyist, were much less of a problem, and there was little or no Dark Money. Also, the laws that monitored donations, and gifts to members of Congress were still being in forced, and they all had to turn over the financials. So of that and more is what is keeping our country from improving, and being great.

On Schoolhouse Rock they only had 3 minutes to tell kids about it. That’s not enough time to put all the other information in it. Kids probably wouldn’t be interested in the other stuff anyway.
