Cayla, seriously please don't let the haters bother you. You know what you're doing and you're too smart to even acknowledge they even exist. To even reference them gives them a win in their eyes No pun intended. You're doing fine and as old as I am I still learned a couple things I didn't know from your video. Thanks for the help.

One would think that with being able to Google anything and everything that less people would be asking how a blind person uses technology. While I still use low vision features a bit, I really prefer using VoiceOver now. I sometimes end up doing things faster with a screenreader than with magnification, so that's a huge reason why I like VO more.

I think it's really interesting how a blind person uses the internet. I am a web developer and I want to create accessible websites. For your example it's neccessary to add features in web development, so people with disabilities can use the website like you showed.

This video is the answer of the frequently asked question about how we interact with our phone 😂😂😂 thank-you for this great video. This might help everyone including you, Ma'am to make your typing on iPhone more quicker. You can set your typing mode to direct touch or touch so that you won't have to double tap on each letter on your keyboard. I only use the standard typing when I'm at secured edit field like passwords. Keep safe, greetings from Philippines 💜

Nice video my friend you got a new subscriber here. Even as a completely blind person I'm not particularly well versed in how other blind/VIP people use desktops. Any time I've tried to use one such as a ChromeBook last year I struggled so much that I eventually gave up. I'm much more comfortable with a smart phone these days :) looking forward to consuming future content.

Thanks you made me feel better I know more than I thought I knew. The one thing that drove me nuts when I can see a bit was the screen on and the screen off which Apple has where you can accidentally shut your screen off if you can see a little bit then all of a sudden the screen goes blank and you don’t know where it went that might be something for you to mention in the future since most people even at the helpdesk‘s don’t know what they’re doing I went into the Apple store in the gurus didn’t know but the blind guy they had working there solve the problem in two seconds and laughed. The other thing is voice to text Apple really needs to up step their level of this sometimes it prints and says absolute crazy and vulgar things since vulgar words are still in the system. The IT department at work has a copy of some of my more famous comments. But again another fantastic video keep up the good work I’ll see you again real soon

I have heard that talkback isn’t as good as voiceover. Although I’m sure they are both complicated. When I started using voiceover I just started using it every once in a while to read a long article or something. That way I was able to ease into it instead of jumping into using it all the time

I was just curious, but did you know that you can change VoiceOver's voice? I think you have it set to Samantha default, but there is a Samantha enhanced voice as well. There are many other voices you can choose, too. Just go to settings, then accessibility, then VoiceOver, then speech, and it should say voice, Samantha default as one of the options. Double tap that, and you should be given a list of voices.❤️

There are several voices you can change your Apple devices to some are pretty funny and some are just sounding more normal. It would be too hard for me to explain to you to do this here but if you go under accessibility settings I’m pretty sure that’s where I found it and it is extremely easy once you find the right thing and then sample the voices you want to hear. I know this probably might be too dangerous! But it’s to educate the cited people! Instead of assuming! That you can see! Because you’re looking down at your phone! You should consider putting your email in the description! So that if cited people they have questions if they have a blind child or child who’s going blind! They can email you and ask you the question directly and see what I’m trying to say?
