Its just that he has practiced looking at a chess board so much that his brain can do it far more efficiently, even so much that he doesent need to think much about it. I am sure if he would slow down a little, he would also notice the thought process behind a certain move, but just imagine how much more time that would take.

I think people are overblowing it. Carlsen just has deep intuition that has developed from years of playing. I mean imagine playing chess 10 hours a day 365 days a year for 10 years. Your life literally starts exclusively being about chess. It’s especially helpful that Magnus started playing at the age of 6 when brains just soak up every little bit of information. It’s all about experience. Not to mention he was coached by Garry Kasparov and was encouraged every step of the way by his father and family. Man had everything right from the get go.
@miaalmeida4787
@miaalmeida4787 3 жыл бұрын
a lot of chess players begin from young ages such as six. only one of them is the world champion and the highest rated chess player in history. at 13 years old magnus drawed against kasparov after being a world champion for more than 40 years. if magnus was just any guy, he wouldnt where he's at. he's a genius.

Getting that 2nd pawn out of that row makes it easier for both rooks to flank and attack the king.
@danraul9759
@danraul9759 Жыл бұрын
Correct me if im wrong but heres the strat. It seems impossible to use the 2 rooks to get anywhere in rank 7 because its completely congested and secured, so queen H6 draws a pawn out forcefully and puts its king in its own chokehold preventing a forward escape from the rooks because of the H5 pawn, checkmate with rook F7. Damn.....carlsen is a damn genius

What made you think this was the right music to use?
@SyncChess
@SyncChess 4 жыл бұрын
This music gives me the feeling of THE ZONE in which great players such as Magnus often enter, it’s like a MAD HIGH where everything they do is just right, without even thinking about it. It’s like Magnus said: “I know, but I don’t know how I know.” So that’s why I picked that music, I just wanted to transfer that feeling to the viewers.

What are they showing at 0:19? It looks like white just queened but black has mate with Q or R on h2. Obviously Svidler didn't miss that. But on the actual board, they're showing the king moving on a diagonal a lot more than one square. I don't get it. Did Magnus offer a draw when his opponent had mate in 1?

because after black rook captures white queen. White rook is gonna take blacks bishop, this forces the black queen to block. You can then pick up the queen and fork the king and rook with white knight and pick up the rook.

it is obvious that this "instinct" is based on experience. His memory is out of this world! Remembers so many end games. That his brain has deep learned why some things is better than others. Instinct (Memory (genetics or experience)) , Intelligence (Logic (knowledge))
