Justin I have an old fashioned corn sheller that has a large cast-iron wheel on the inside of it. When you hand crank it to get the momentum of the wheels spinning, there is a tray on top that you push the corn cob down into the receiving chute. Even put a large vessel underneath the shoot to catch the corn and the Cobs are easy to separate from that corn. I don't shell corn with it but I do shell off the hulls of my walnuts with it. Ìt has two settings on it for various sizes of cobs and/or walnuts. Hopefully next year I can put an electric motor on it to keep that Heavy wheel spinning but I don't wear my arm out!

I don't know if you'll see this msg since I just watched this video and you tube said it was 6months old but I have to say that was pretty dang slick. Makes me wonder how did someone come up with the idea for that sheller. More importantly I'm not sure how that cob doesn't just fall out of the sheller and into the box. Thank you again for sharing another part of your wealth if knowledge with us Justin. May you have a good one. Have fun take care

that SLOW MOTION is perfection..😁 since that first video I watched from THE HOLLARS, using that ancient machine, i was fascinated and at the same time can't help wander, "HOW DID THAT shell went the opposite direction of its starting point?" FINALLY, I can sleep ..😂😂😂 I think I've watched enough of your videos to make this assumption : your channel is GOING BACK TO BASIC & PRACTICAL ... I learn a thing or every time I listen, then watched your video.. my job REQUIRED my eyes, so I plugged my ears with your channel and other channels too, then on my breaks I watched where I MUST see what you have just described.. keep them coming video.. Hi Justin, do you know where a good gristmill like the one in your video where you dressed the stone's? I could even add an electric motor, but I would buy one if you know where a good one is, because I trust that you would know a good one. I have a cheap electric mill, but it isn't really good at making the flour out of the wheat i put in it, and the flour gets to hot. I also doubt that I could do corn. I don't need a real big one, because my granny was in the great depression and she had a small one that had a wood case If I remember right, but that was over 40 year's ago when I was a young kid. I looked at other new one's, and the thing's are junk, and I worry about aluminum, or the other metal's that just don't last. I have MS and the muscle's on my left side are weak, and i can't feel my hand, which makes doing thing's kinda hard, like buttoning a shirt drive's me crazy. The wheat i buy is non radiated non gmo, and I am trying to get better quality food because it might slow the progression down. Let me know if you can find one, I live in michigan, and will pay you if you have one. Thank you for your time, and God bless.
